I think I agree with Lock - Gamelon looks pretty unappetising. If you squint, it's a bit like one of these:

But which one?

Also, what? Dragonfruit is one of the tastiest looking fruit I've seen.

I was thinking that big fat one just to the right of centre. The fronds look kind of Gamelon-ish.

Dragonfruit are sadly nowhere near as exciting in taste as they are to look at. Taste kind of watery - I'm not really a fan.

Yeah I've never tasted one but I heard they taste kinda like very mild kiwis, they still do look pretty though.

As you are all posting pictures, I wondered about what Gamelon is and why his avatar is that flower thing. A quick google search led me to Zelda and I quickly forgot what I was doing :D:D

Gamelon is a demon summoner, so why the orange flower?

Apparently it's called Feral guide of Sabrael (Sabrael is an angel)

If you go two pictures to the right there's a piece reminiscent of this one called Demons, no idea why this.

I'm having certain issues picturing those scenes in the book when Bauchelain summons demons as him reaching into another humanoid. Perhaps you could explain more about your blood/piss/shit demon theory?

But that's were all the fun of the books lies at!

Got to say your source hunting is fantastic! They are also gorgeous pictures

When you go to the "pictures" section of google you can jost drop a picture there to find if it's somewhere on the net or find visually similar pictures.

I agree that they're pretty, except maybe for the one that is Gamelon, that is.

Rogues and a bunch of magic-types all get puppet-making skills.

Of course given how many Barbarians are around, double-votes are likely to take care of those puppets.

I thought it was the Rogues that could double vote last game? I've not checked but to me you're saying either "I'm a Barbarian" or "I was a Barbarian* in a previous game"

Either that or you're signalling to Shameless Henry that your vote counts for two...

*or possessed/dominated/resurrected a Barbarian and read their Role PM.

Hmm, this is weird. Alkend is claiming that Omtose is "signalling to Shameless Henry that [his] vote counts for two". But according to the role-distribution post at the start, Shameless Henry is the only barbarian on his team. So why would Omtose need to signal to his master about their own role?

Thing is, he may well have had a look at the role PMs from a previous game. Just takes a bit of initiative to go and look back over the spoiler threads and see what the classes can do. The only example of a Barbarian role PM I could find was from Mafia 131, and there they did have abilities that made their votes count double. So to me Omtose is saying "Look at me, I did my research!"

Feel like this can be read as "my master didn't slip up, there's a perfectly logical explanation for his extra knowledge!". It's early, but I could see Omtose as the leader of Gamelon's faction.

Back, catching up. Feeling hungry, as all I had for breakfast was some muesli. Thankfully it's getting close to lunchtime.

"hentai-watcher's-most-craved-dream-come-true fruit"

How's that for breakfast Lock?

Hmm. Interesting.

Sorrit was on everybody's case early on, but suddenly mellowed out and started going off topic in the food discussion

This makes me think that Sorrit is not in fact a disposable alt, and he got spooked by the attention he attracted. Thus the jump into the food talk.

That, or somebody just hijacked him with a day action.

The Leader of the Fifth makes an announcement:

Quote

Shameless Henry walks into a bar.
"Ice cream please" he says.
"You will scream, petal" a rough voice stated.
Hmm, It's almost as if everyone has an allegiance they don't want to betray by something as obvious as voting  if this is anything like other faction games, everyone will wait until the last minute and then pile on some helpless sap. I might say so in thread.

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Why be such a little shit Sorrit?

If this were a town vs scum game I'd have Sorrit down as town-ish. RI is all about being a dick early game. But since this is factions, there's no excuse!

I'm guessing him being a dick means that Sorrit is a disposable alt that he won't mind using or he wants people's attention on him for some reason.
Or maybe that's what he wants us to think?

It's possible he's signalling/distancing too, but I would think someone would wait a bit longer before starting to signal.
Go on I'll bite, if he's signalling why aren't you voting for Kessobahn to prove/disprove the theory?

getting people to actually vote in faction games is like pulling teeth. It's almost as if everyone has an allegiance they don't want to betray by something as obvious as voting  if this is anything like the other faction games I've played, everyone will wait until the last minute and then pile on some helpless sap in a big train.

I thought those words sounded familiar - this looks like the post Shameless Henry is referencing.

EDIT: Beaten to it by Omtose.

I did not know what Omtose was on about until I saw your post Telas, let us hear what Fandy has to say then.

Ugh, I'm alive but barely. While house had caught the flu.

I would advise being cautious about Shameless Henry's message. That looks like a setup to me.

Actually, I don't think the masters see their puppets as disposable as you're implying, they have after all invested their APs in them, it's not like you get them for free if you ask nicely.

I don't understand what's Henry's message trying to say, and I can't see any connection between the joke and Fande's words?

It's also interesting that Alkend made the presumption that Shameless Henry is the leader. Since Blend didn't actually say that's what the order is on-thread.

Huh, looks like I'm being set up somehow? But it's unclear exactly how or why. I have nothing to do with Shameless Henry. I can't really make head or tails of the rest of the message, so it's unclear what their aims are.

Good point. And now that I read it in this light - it's not actually confirmed from the statement PS put on thread that Leader of the Fifth = Shameless Henry, it's just implied.

I think it's pretty obvious extrapolation to make once you look at your own role PM and see how it lines up against the posted roles. Certainly my role lines up with how you'd expect it to (eg. 1=Leader, 2=Heir, 3=Elite) The fact that you don't think this is a given says more about yours, to be honest. Maybe you're the Survivor? If that was the case you wouldn't be able to verify it the same way everyone else could...
