First episode was on uk tv yesterday. Taped it but havent had a chance to see it yet. Looks very promosing though. Tom Hardy is always ace.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

I watched the first episode on BBC. Still no clue what it's about but it's promising.

They've been blasting trailers on every other youtube video I have been watching for a week I think.
Looks good. It's also very short I understand? Like 6-8 episodes or something.

That's quite long for a BBC show, to be fair.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Well hell yall already getting it?
It's a British series and I think it was commissioned by the BBC, so I assume that's why we get to see it earlier than other places.

Watched the premier last night. I don't know if it was just Tom Hardy or he and the well done settings combined, but I was practically riveted the entire episode. I think the previews I saw (all of which gave the impression that there is going to be some freaky, boundary pushing things happening) had me anticipating said freaky things beginning at any moment and that may have contributed to my rapt attention. But I enjoyed it thoroughly and can't wait for some of the mysteries to begin unraveling. Looking forward to more.
When did the F word become ok for a "regular" cable channel, even after 10pm? It was dropped twice in this show and i swear its the first time I've heard it on a non premium channel. And it wasn't in a quiet, slide it on by way either, it was vehement both times. Is the show made for/by the BBC and basically just broadcast by FX or is it a remake by FX?

The way I understand it, it's a BBC show first that FX pitched in on- certainly, it's produced in the UK by UK teams.
And we are far more lax about swearing than you guys. I mean, this has apparently caused quite a big stir among American viewers, this isn't the only place I've seen it come up, but I'm fairly sure barely anyone in the UK even noticed.
It amuses me that in the US you still can't say certain words at all on free telly whereas in the UK after 9pm you can pretty much say anything.
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Interesting. I would not have expected that to be the case.

I watched the two first episodes last night and enjoyed it a lot. Tom Hardy is essentially perfect in any role he is cast, and this is no exception.

Watched ep 1 of TABOO (it's free on iTunes)...and eh....I'm a big historical drama fan..but what am I meant to be watching here? Tom Hardy swagger around all top-heavy, telling people to get out of his way, while everyone tries and fails to manipulate him?
Man, I dunno. I thought the first ep was okay...but enough to continue? Eh...

QT watch ep 2. It was much better.
I plan to watch the rest now I think. I did like certain aspects of it, and I keep hearing decent things (from you folks and others).

Oh, I've seen Fury Road so I guess this is the third thing I've seen with him. I'm not really a movie/tv person and the things I watch, I never pay attention to the actors.
