No, apparently the word got through to please don't do that. :p

And USA get through on the strength of an own goal and a pretty clear offside, plus some quite mystifying non-penalties by them. But then again they were the better team for most of the game.
Still, it's pretty clear the USA have "protected" status with the officials. Gianni stuffing his face with Trump's rump.

We got a lot better in the second half but the damage was already done.

Somebody better crush this USA team in the elimination stages. Like, really flog them.

Yet another draw, this time Australia v Paraguay. I can't recall ever seeing this many draws in the group matches. Oh well, gives us 2nd place in group D.

Now I reckon most of the world's AI are overheating trying to run the numbers on who plays whom in the elimination matches and what the odds are. Stupid system, go back to 32.

Oh, and suck it USA. Congrats to Turkiye, going home with a win.

How delicious would it be if Iran somehow meet USA in knock outs and beat them

I did see some Belgian guy, after they drew with Iran post "Well we didn't beat Iran either but at least it didn't cost us $300b" which I thought was pretty funny.

I feel you, bro.

Ah well, better luck next time to us hopefully. I think we had one of if not the youngest teams in the tournament, so fingers crossed they will get better.

Our defence was pretty good, but you can't win if you can't score goals, and we just couldn't do that this time round.

Bugger. :(

Good luck Egypt against Argentina. They'll need it.

Cabo Verde nearly pinched it. They have been the story of this WC. Amazing performance.

Delightful by the Belgians.

A very bizarre part of me wanted the birth right citizen Trump campaigned to have play by pressuring Fifa into postponing his ban to score and win the game for USA to cause further uproar against the crooked fuckers.

But this is better

I'm wondering if Trump hasn't already called Gianni to have the result overturned.

But yes, that was so, so very delightful to see.

Now I have a second reason to like Belgium, after chocolate.
