Hey there, how's it going? It's been a while since I've been on this forum (though I certainly have been keeping up reading through the books, currently on Dust of Dreams)

I'm trying to track down the Ian Esslemont mass market trade paper backs so that I can keep the size and style consistent in my library, however I've been having some trouble.

I would like to get the sizes similar to the below post (from the post your collections thread):

Spoiler

However, I have found it hard enough to find matching books of any size, unless I'm willing to sell an arm and a leg to do it.
I thought I was onto something good with the mass market paperbacks, they're all a consistent size and they would match with my MbotF books :killingme: I found 5 of them on Amazon for a pretty good price, and 1 for a not so good price. The other 5 bundled up were ~$40 US, and however Stonewielder was a whopping $110 for some reason. Which I would be willing to pay for a high quality hardback, but I'd rather not fork out that money for a mass market paperback which I have no idea the quality of. I have been unable to find what I'm looking for elsewhere.

Would anyone be able to give me some advice on what my best bet is? Maybe point me in the direction of some good stores or tips on what I should do?

Any help would be much appreciated

I would suggest finding the ISBNs of the specific MMPB editions you want, and looking around using those (instead of "book name mmpb"). You'll get more exacting results.

Also, thebookdepository.com is very good. For example, here are the results for Stonewielder: http://www.bookdepos...arch=Find+book. The good thing about TBD is they list a book's dimensions.

You might have trouble. The UK MMPBs switched to the larger "B" size late in the series. They're all now consistently the same "B" size, but that's not helpful if you got the earlier books in the "A" size. The only way to get the entire series in "A" size is to track down the very specific Bantam foreign paperback editions, which they produced for the Commonwealth market (India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand) where the "A" format is still the norm.

Otherwise you might have to re-buy the entire series in "B" paperback format from Bantam UK to get the consistent size. I'm not sure what Tor has done in the USA, if they've now got a complete matching set of covers.
