If there was a nice collection box of all the 10 main books, I'd know what I wanted for christmas...

(I have them all, of course, but in various sizes, editions and conditions, all paperback...)

Since the MMPB of Assail was finally released recently, I have completed my collection ICE books and thus of the entire main series! :ermm:

You should really keep them on a shelf or something. Spread out on the floor as they are, they might get damaged by foot traffic or pets. Very odd habit.

I've been adding to the collection off and on since my last post. I got everything organized for insurance purposes this weekend. Apologies on the presentation, I just moved again and don't have my bookcases all set up again.

First are my tor first editions of the main series:

Also included are my spare first editions, non-hardcover editions, some tor ICE works, and bantam UK first editions.

Next are my nightshade novellas, limited editions and spares, plus PS B&KB novellas and non-malazan PS novellas.

Now the rest of my non-malazan stuff, including postscripts 10, locus, Swords and dark fantasy, and some early Lundin work.

The rest of my PS slipcased editions.

And of course, my Subterranean editions, with a spare Dead house Gates I was able to get personalized at Pax last year.

And finally the really rare stuff: various arcs and proofs.

I have the entire tor series bar RG, bantam books 1 & 2, and I've been working on the novellas, prequels, and ICE books.

So, there you have it :p

So do either of the first two books have a Bantam hardcover edition?

seems all I can find in Bantam started by the third book

from research it looks like they only had a paperback UK release initially

I like the look of the Bantam covers better that the Tor covers but I guess if I want hardback matching set i need to go Tor?

ugh looks like Tor used Bantam art for the last two so it is either:

1) buy Tor hardback book 1 and 2 and Bantam covers for 3-10
or
2) get Tor covers 1-8 and Bantam covers for 9 and 10
or
3) merge together some kind of set with anniversary issues that use all same cover format

i guess I'm too much of a perfectionist as the BCE edition sizes are a no-go also for me
