yeah, him too...but he died so fast I can't imagine anyone developed any strong feelings for him. Definitely an 'Other'

Huh, tough one this time (again;)).
After reading NoK, I go for Tays though, just to make it not too easy for QBAD.

Loric, he was one of the most interesting characters of HOC, I think.

quickben, hes just too damn cool
i love the story of him and kalam trying to trick whiskeyjack and the bridgeburners. and just how hes so damn cocky about his powers. and no matter what he's always there to help his friends, no matter how far away they are

had to go for tays after NoK and the battles at coral first with Kallor and then to destroy the wall and the Mages while the warrens were polluted. and with no help from hood or the stick puppet.

Tattersail, I would say that she was pretty darn powerful for Tay to be that concerned about her.

Tayschrenn because he's the only mage who really kicks major butt, he even put of anomander Rake whilst setting demons on everyone else. I would love to see him and QB duke it out. Can't wait to read NoK!

I said Nightchill, ever since I found out she was an elder goddess, that just made her the bees' knees to me.

Vorcan - what, after all, is cooler than a mage-assassin.

I'm shocked, I thought I would be the only one to vote for Vorcan!

Tayschrenn, just because he's pretty the much the most powerful "vanilla" human. Can't explain it, I just love his scenes.

What about A'Karonys? Stumpy? Tesormalandis(sp?)? Gotta love those throwaway names.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

*repeats* Tattersail, don't know why, but we never did actually find out how powerful she was with Thyr.....

Really powerful if she managed to reincarnate herself with dead pieces of flesh, still she was weaker than tayschrenn...though as silverfox I'm not to sure...
