The servers break down all the time, it's really frustrating. The good thing is I'm based in CET, so I have some time to catch Pokemon before the US wakes up: that's usually when the traffic spikes so high it's unplayable. Only played a bit and caught like 4 or 5 Pokemon. Gotta say it's addictive though but they certainly need to add some features to extend playability: I cannot imagine it being fun for more than 2 weeks in the current form.

Servers crash pretty regularly, especially during lunch/evening in the US.
But no, I'm not having different technical issues.

I got LordDraconus1, Draconus, LordDraconus were taken so I had to throw the 1 on there. I find crap constantly I feel bad for you guys who can't find stuff. I do live in the Chicago area and there are gyms and stops everywhere. I think my highest Pokemon is at 1100 cp already.

Read that another dead body was found during a Pokemon Go excursion. Also read some discarded hand guns were found on another.
I'm starting to think that this game was created/supported by law enforcement to discover leads on crimes that have gone cold. Crowdsourcing crime investigation if you will.

Jaina signed up early and I showed her how to get Pikachu. Tomorrow I ll take her into town to see what we can get as we have almost nothing here around house.
You can also use the incense item, which attracts pokemon to your location for 20ish minutes. I think you start with 2 free ones.

Is there a wiki or something to show how exactly to play this game without guessing?

Fucking Euros crashed the Go Servers. I just spent 3 hours in a park, being unable to log into the servers to get all my pokemon.
Will Europe stop fucking up the rest of the world for once?
Thanks.

They might need a dose of freedom to sort them out, 'Murica style.

My phone is apparently running android 4.3, not the 4.4 needed for Pokemon.
But I like my s3! Nobody would go get an upgrade just so they could catch pokemon, would they?!

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I just found out that you're supposed to tap and hold the pokeball until the green circle shrinks all the way, and then flick it. Whoops.

Out the back of my work we've got open woodland that has about 5 foot high grass at the minute. There I was sat outside chilling on my lunch in the sun and out of the grass walks a guy, phone in hand Pokémon hunting.
It was like what happens in the films. You hear a rustle, see movement but see no one... and you just sort of stand and stare at the spot waiting to see what emerges.
Rather disappointed it was some old dude.
I'm staying away from the game at the minute, if it survives the general hype and gets some improvements then I might just crumble and play.

I'm OK with the Pokémon playing at museums and memorials.
There's already hundreds or thousands of people with their cell phones out at these things and none of it crosses over into real life desecration.
