Can I ask a question then, I am genuinely curious to the answer.

Why have those TE's gone, other than Gronk, ahead of Tylar Eifert? As he got me some monster points last year.

Well Both Reed and Olson had monster years as well and are either considered the top passing target of their respective offenses or are the QB's safety valve.

Olson had 125 targets from cam newton last year. By far the most targeted receiver on the team.
Reed - 87 recpetions and 11 tds. With shit QB's last year and missing two games. That is a huge talent.

Eifert - had 13 tds but only 615 yards which means that if he doesn't get tds then his points aren't going to be there. He was also injured for 3 games and had surgery in the off season. Ankle surgery with a 3 month recovery period. Which means no training camp and no preseason games. Which means that it will take him a while to get up to speed in the offense. So potentially less use this year. Still a great TE. But he isn't going to jump off the board in the 4th round.

Really?

I just thought Reed was cute.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Slow I think your missus or little girl go ahold of your keyboard again... :p

I know that you don't pick players based on how cute they are or how much you like the team uniforms.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Venge have some rep for that answer. It goes to show how much I don't know about NFL sill but each year i'm taking good steps. I don't like my team this year already, last year I had 3 top WR's, this year, er! Ha.

I'm sticking to my plan though.

It is good to have a plan going into a draft. I always have one. Of course that plan will change depending on what is available and who has taken what and what value I have given to positions and the likely hood that specific players will be available the next time my draft spot comes around. I most likely spend to much time researching players and draft strategy.

Am I wrong or is Randall Cobb actually over Edelman?

Ok thanks. I was looking at the yahoo preseason rankings from 8/1 and they had Cobb at 40, Edelman at 49. But now I'm in the official app and see what you see.

Slow Ben you bastard! You big bastard! He is no where near the current draft positions! He was mine, the only reason I left him was how low he was in the draft order ha! You bastard ha ha. I thought no one would take him for another two rounds, and I know he is a risk and people think he will flop but he looks to be their number one RB and they'll need him to help out their WR's. Hmm, I cannot fault you but I did want him.

Perhaps a trade. Slow lives in IL where the bears play as do I. I don't think he would have dropped past the 6th round. I had him projected to go in the middle of the 6th.

He was just on my short list, I had him down as a starter but a risk. I read a good article on him,

https://www.profootb...eremy-langford/

and he is basically slated here by this critic, and I thought, you know what, i'll have him, see if he proves this guy wrong.

Shan taking Floyd over Fitzgerald, that's an upset - or great minds thinking alike....
There's always the Redskins RB for you, Tatts - just as likely to be a bust, but more likely to be a bellcow :p

I just want all of my picks to have "if he stays healthy" in their description. That's my drafting strategy.

But really, it's contract year, so I am hoping Floyd feels the need to prove himself.

I was torn on Floyd or Fitzgerald too, so I went with neither. I think that Arizona offense is going to be a little hard to predict in some places, though I can't see either having a bad year.

I have zona wr on my don't draft early list mainly because Palmer is old and a hard hit away being carted off the field.

Good point. Certainly has happened before. Only reason I was thinking about it is because I binge watched All or Nothing on Amazon recently. Highly highly recommend it to anyone here.

I am not worried over Palmer. Alot of QBs in their 30ies.

Btw i had Jeremy Langford somewhere between 80 and 90 on my draft board.

Fun to see how different we value the players.
