Welp at least I know why he hasn't responded to anyone's pms. It looks like his email address that the pms alert would show up in doesn't work. I pulled up his email address and fired off an email to him and it got bounced back. Which is unfortunate. I will go through some of my old messages and see if I can find a different email address or perhaps a number for him.

Is the emailadress he uses on Yahoo! for the league the same as his PM-adress here?
As much as I dislike auto-draft, a co-manager should only come in if we decide to replace Shin. It is a thankless job otherwise. Alternatively, we just draft Shin the closest placed Packer to the pick he has to make.

I would prefer to wait as long as possible for Shin to return, but the question becomes: until what point can a replacement jump in without having a completely ruined season due to auto-draft - I guess it is when Yahoo suggests a second QB or TE instead of RB/WR?
For now, maybe we could auto-pick immediately when his 12 hours begin, to save us 12 hours of waiting.
