As I woke early today and it is dry I've mowed the lawn, watered plants, trimmed back some bushes, sprayed some weedkiller and generally been useful outside the house.

I find your case on Shadow to be fairly persuasive. I do dislike how much you're implying that he is following you though - why would anyone parrot another without putting any variations on it?

Okay, so I've read through, and the case on Shadow is that they're a low poster and an 'unknown.'

The problem I have is that no one seems to be voting Shadow with the argument that they could be a vamp. Togg says he 'liked the case' but there is no case that I've seen! Instead, the votes are coming in because Shadow is an 'unknown'. Can I just point out how stupid that is? To me at least, everyone is an unknown, and that's nothing to do with their quantity of posting. It's to do with the fact that this is a game with - apparently - at least two recruiters (one for each side, if we believe KF when he says Emur has come over to the light).

This seems lazy to me.

I said upthread that we don't know vamp's VC. We might be coming up on D-day. I'm willing to trust KF (and implicitly) Emu right now. Togg and Fanderay I had both pencilled as "not the head vampire before. I'm not the head vampire.

This leaves me with the 3 low posters. Of them, Shadow seem most likely to fit the type. Will lynchig the "Master" prevent vamps from reaching VC? I dunno. But if we let things keep going, and vamps keep recruiting, they may soon be running lynches.

Ok so it seems to me that the main argument is that I am a low poster. Which I am. No counter argument for me. I have played a shitty game here.

But what is this "unknown" thing? The entire point of Mafia is take your best guess at who someone is rather than ascertaining everybody's identity. Is everybody really that confident that they know everybody?

Has anyone considered the vampires are reserving their kills and funnelling all energy towards recruiting?

So KF does a find on you. It tells one of two things.

1) You're a vampire. We lynch you the next day or a kill goes your way the next Night from Vig-Buffy assuming she has shots left. So vamps are down one. But, in that time they've recruited between 1 and 2 new vampires (I am not going to consider that you're the recruiter because that would be retarded) depending on if recruit is 1 or 2 night phases. So vamp team loses one over two days, School lose one or two over two days and number needed for a lynch drops by one. Vamps come out on top.

2) You're School (or Other if there is another faction.) You're confirmed as such on thread. Right cool for you. So now you get targeted with a recruit the next Night by vamps because you're a known School, named and unlikely to be recruit-proof. So we lose you to vamps and have wasted a Find on you to boot.

For 2) above I still retain heavy doubts about Cordelia being School still too.

Either way it's shit. After that I'd be all for lynching you and KF looking at someone else

OK, so if you were Guarding Korlat on the first two nights that still does not explain the lack of NKs as Korlat did not CF as Vamp, right? So what if the Vamps recruited the first two nights, then went for the Kill? And coincidentally we have two NK less nights right after that.

Maybe its less a case of choosing to recruit or Kill, vs being forced to wait two nights due to mechanics?
