Okay, after running around most of the day, I gots me some free time. Not home, mind, so playing off my phone and so no quotes unless I go back, and then it'll be single-post quotes only.

Good job to whomever offed Merrid, a powerful named vamp is not good thing to be around.

Now, what I thought was interesting is the "sire of Angel" bit. I'm gonna throw some noob questions (my data cap for the month is almost dead. Only thing I'm using it for is mafiaz, which is why I can't just go and wiki stuff myself).

Angel in what little of Season 1 that I saw was Buffy's "other" mentor- Giles was the official teacher, while Angel was the tall, dark and handsome, who dropped by to give hints and tips, and occasionally lend a helping hand. And it's discovered fairly early on he's a vamp, but a "good" one, in that he wants other vamps dead. I didn't ever see the spinoff, but also assuming he was a good guy/demon there.

So now, the question becomes: was he a good guy in this set up (if he is a part of it)? Would he have known who Darla was? I'm trying to wrap my head around the mafia mechanics in this scenario.

Those are just thoughts out loud. I'm also gonna look why AF may have been a target, and where to go from here. Fanderay, KF and Togg seem to be pretty clearly anti-vamp, whether students or smth else. So I'm inclined to see who was poking them for now.

I can see what you’re saying, and I agree that on second thought, my posts do read like I’m denying the existence of a vampire. But, my whole reason for asking Togg questions was because he acted like there was ONE single recruiter, in a high TMDI faction game when we haven’t had any kills yet. That assumption sounds really weird to me. I believe it either means he had inside info regarding the recruit mechanic and he slipped, or he is trying to trick us, or he is just a bad player and assuming things he shouldn’t assume.

In all three cases everyone is better off if he is put under pressure.

I agree with both the points you make. I still think we need to have some idea about how the game is working before doing the third lynch. So, we at least need to reach a consensus regarding the factions in game that we know.

Vampire ~ we know there is at least one, Togg called him "our recruiter"
Demons ~Speculation, don't know if they exist in game

That's not a lot of information. And that is most certainly not the whole picture. You can't have a game with 1 killer/recruiter/whatever and 13 people in the other team and call it balanced. (or a faction game for that matter)

Here I even admit the vampire can be a recruiter (very likely is), but again, without more CFs we just don’t know if he is the only one. I'm trying to get the point across that there have to be more baddies out there, and Togg's assumption is suspicious to the extreme.

Note the use of “one single”. Here I meant to convey that there can be more than one recruiter (definitely has to be more than one baddy) , I also found Togg’s wording very interesting. I did misquote it though, as he mentioned up thread.
I put my vote on him not because I’m denying the existence of a vampire recruiter as you imply, but because I think he acts like he knows too much about the recruiter.

Here I even agree with Korlat’s reason for voting Togg. “The person who smelt it dealt it”, notice that I’m not saying Togg talks about a recruiter when there isn’t one in game. I’m saying Togg makes assumptions about a recruiter without PS giving us a single clue about how she implemented that mechanic. It just stinks to high heavens for me.



I'm fine with anything the other people decide regarding the long weekend.

The one problem I have with you, is that you are Darla, the vampire, sire of Angel (him of the stand-alone series), and therefore, I don't by anything whatsoever you say.

Yet we get no lynch. People could use being away as an excuse, or voting away before the reveal, that's okay too but Kesso has absolutely no excuse.
