Fantastic work - as always!

Too much to hope you'd fancy doing the big reveal as part of this year's Wiki Advent Calendar, Onrack??! :p

Cheers Egwene,

Now there's an idea, when is the Calendar coming out?

Same as last year, we are planning to start on the 1st of December. Sixteen artists have already signed up. It would be great if you were to take part as well!!!

Love your Fid armour concepts - 2A reminds me a lot of Geralt from The Witcher series.

Haha yeah, I wanted to show off his tiny teeth and I figured a creepy smile is always a winner.

Aye I have a fair amount of witcher reference saved, a lot of it is similar to what I imagine the Malazan aesthetic is. I would love to give one of these guys a proper concepting treatment though, where you can get into real detail with design narrative.

Favourite pommel 3, favourite guard 1. But I don't think that they fit together very well :(

Did you complete the big pic for Dirk, Onrack?

Could you ask him if he would be happy to let us publish it on the Wiki?

Cheers guys I'm really chuffed you like it.
So there's actually stuff hidden throughout the image, something I like to do for picture longevity, the problem being that at this res you could probably get three, the others are too blurred, of course I'm not one to just give shit away so here are your clues...

-BlackDog
-Acoustic
-Fret

Happy hunting :(

Wowzers. Great image.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
