Hi all.

So Purge of Ashes has finally been released! Huzzah! It is the first book in my Imbalance series.

It looks like this: WHAT THE BOOK LOOKS LIKE
...and you can get the book here: WHERE THE BOOK IS

I hope everyone enjoys it. It is currently in Kindle format (though I believe the eBook is transferable to other devices - checking tomorrow) but softcovers are being manufactured as we speak and should be up on Amazon whenever Amazon darn well pleases. I am hoping the softcovers are as beautiful as the digital proof made them out to be. The Kindle version is the bare bones - no chapter icons, no maps, more basic fonts, etc. but all the book is there. I'll report when physical ones are available because they're beautiful.

In the end it's about the scope of bravery, the lies of destiny, and the weight of grief.

Oh, and here's a link to a sample - though there's one through Amazon as well. :p
Author of Purge of Ashes.
Sayer of "And Nature shall not abide."

Bought it. Will read in a couple days. Good job getting this far and may you get better and better at the blasted difficult job of putting words on the page in the right order.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Dang, I got the Kindle version, and it's pretty huge. I imagine the paperback is what people in the biz call a "doorstopper".

I see your website has the primary map and a lot of regional breakdowns, so that's rad.

I will probably have to do my FoD reread/FoL read before I get to this, but I'm hyped to read it.

The one question I have, before getting into the book, is what is it like to have the last name Minty?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Just bought the book as well but it's probably going to be stuck in my Kindle library for a couple months.

Nice price by the way, Tatter.

Every paperback comes with a stick of Wrigley's gum. Joel said so himself.

Once the PB is out fella, I'll be on it like German bomber, reyt onta meat. When I finally get Incarnate out there, we can get 'em both on a shelf together.

The map looks really nice and I really like your attitude (No confusion. No room for filling plot holes. Here it is and I live and die by it.) :p The amount of detail you give in the descriptions under the local maps is also quite amazing. A definite good sign to me, as it indicates that the author isn't making stuff up as they go.

"I also think readers are looking for creators who have planned things out way ahead of time as a show of commitment to their craft." YES.

The genre is gritty epic fantasy right?

I really think that I'll have to buy this one. Will be really cool later to be like "Yeah, I heard about the book the same day it was released..."

Firstly, A great big thank you for having a Kindle release. For readers like me who don't live in the West, Kindle is often the only way to get a book.

Secondly, I really like the way you have sketched out your world in the website. Honestly it feels like a grand RTS game.

I will definitely be including it in my soon-to-read list, probably right after Fall of Light.

I'll be picking it up and reading it in the near future as well (added to my Kindle wishlist). Congrats!

I miss old school fantasy maps! Did you make them yourself or does the publisher get someone to do them?

Will get it as promised when I see my kindle again

Congrats, dude.

That's amazing Tatterdem, I'm so happy for you! Seems you've got some good reviews already! I hope it hits bookstores near here soon!

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.
