Being as obsessed with the show as I am I spend a lot of time on the Executive Producers twitter feed during the forever hiatus. The actor that played Wick from what I can tell is a huge bigot and a racist asshole. Jason Rothenberg himself played it out to be a contract thing and they couldn't work out bringing him back but if he really wanted the actor back then I'm sure he would have worked something out given how he literally said he begged AMC to bring back Alycia for the Lexa role. Which I think we are all very grateful that he was able to do that.

Looked into this. It SOUNDS (and looks) like the guy is just a fan of telling really poor, tongue-in-cheek jokes (at least that's what one of the producers seemed to imply) and that if you don't know him, you will think he's being fully serious. But yeah, without that context, his twitter feed was a racist, homophobic, sexist mess...(he's since deleted the account). I dunno, if the guy was just attempting humour, you just want to shake him and go "Dude, twitter isn't the place for shit you should really only say with friends who know you're joking"...and if he's not, well he deserves to have lost that job. At any rate, if you have a small part on a successful show that is blown into a really bigger part...you don't treat your twitter feed like a comedy repository for really bad jokes. That's just stupid.

In the long run, I'm not unhappy Wick is gone...I could have taken him or left him. It will be nice for Raven to be the only super smart nerd badass on the show..no need for the engineer.

During the "meeting" with Clarke, I had to admit that Bellamy's perspective/issues in regards to HER were justifiable. But not the rest, as I see it. About halfway through the episode I was predicting Arkadia would split 3 ways: a 1/3 to Jaha's CoL cult, a 1/3 that didn't agree with Pike's brutality and would leave and Pike's 1/3 that would stay and fight avenging grounders and probably be wiped out. Guess not, now. Why didn't Raven see the actual City of Light "vision" (alternate reality?) like Jaha when he took the chip? She just stopped feeling pain and saw Alie.

I think beyond just being betrayed by Echo, the death of that random girl he kissed was a big blow. I think their entire relationship was very contrived and it popped up out of nowhere, but I can see that the writers shoehorned it in to make the loss of Mt. Weather even bigger for him.

Blood must have blood and then that fucking spear throw twist. Brutal. The combat choreography was very good too. I felt like that entire scene could have been lifted straight out of HBO's GoT. Just fucking stellar all around. Also, "It's what farmers used to do to their cattle..." "Right before the slaughterhouse." Talk about hyperbolic metaphors lol.

Allie has to see Rebecca as a threat, imo. All she seems to know about Rebecca is that it was created in isolation and modified to fix the issues in her own v1 programming. As such, any move that doesn't result in Rebecca's destruction seems extremely risky. I don't see how she can have an amiable purpose in mind for finding Rebecca.

Agreed. Allie's programming is about weeding out the things that make society not work...including all humans...so the fact that a revised AI was made that supports humanity (in the Commander/Rebecca AI) would rail directly against her skewed programming, and thus, in the POV of Allie's programming...Rebecca's AI chip must be grabbed and destroyed.

I agree with both of your opinions about Allie. It'll be interesting to see how exactly the AIs go up against each other. The next Commander is going to be pretty young. What kind of effect will that have on the situation?

I agree with BK also. Ep8 was not up to par with Ep7. I'm sick to death of Pyke (Pike) and Bellamy is taking far too long to get his head out of his ass.

Yeah, there have been moments where the way Monty looks at his mom and I think that he sees how wrong she is.

Also, the turncoat who drank Pike's Koolaid SHOULD be Jasper. He fits the bill for that WAY better than Bellamy.
