I was reminded of this old Erikson interview today where he makes some very topical comments about names...

I see a copy on eBay so it might be out? Any impressions yet, anyone?

It's not out yet.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

The estimated delivery time for that e-bay listing is 19-29th of February - looks to me like someone is selling an item they do not yet have. The book is coming out on the 25th - I guess the seller won't start shipping until then either! And although they say they are an Australian company - the item location is listed as being London.

Not sure if it was mentioned but this one is a much shorter book than usual. Probably about half the length of the last few.

I'd say around 120k words or slightly more. We'll see but it won't be far from that.

What is the best way to get the book in USA.
if I order from Amazon.co.uk, it is going to cost me $40 (+credit card fees for foreign transactions).
On the other hand, I really dont want to wait till May end or something.

Please help :-)

Wait a couple weeks and see if Book Depository, Canadian Amazon or Chapters have it/will ship it. That being said, I paid about 30 bucks per main series book to get them here ahead of USA publication/to escape the not-good US cover art.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Great Thanks
Seems like it is available from Book Depository for a cheaper price (about $15 less) than Amazon UK and available in 6 days :-)
Will try it out.

If anyone does get it on Amazon don't forget to use the referral links on this site!

Ordered on Kindle. Kinda excited about diving back into Malazan, been too long, even if Esslemont's attempt have left me largely cold.
