@Puck
Where can I find the piece that Gorefest mentioned above? I'd really like to read it.

It was really more a rant, and full of typos, too. But it's still here, with a follow-up two posts later. Also, it has nothing to do with Hamlet, just MT and classic tragedy.

I've taken the liberty of finding the post back, I hope that's okay with Puck.
It's post number #15 behind the spoiler tag in this thread:http://forum.malazan..._1#entry1184909
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

Yeah, no specific Hamlet references, but an interesting case study nevertheless that to me seemed in a similar vein to What AH was talking about.

Ah that thread! What started of as a confusing MT discussion, spiralled off into something much deeper. I loved that

Just came across the Errant identifying Triban Gnol as the poisoner. In DoD Chapter 3, the Errant was gloating as he strangled Brys in the alley.

I warned you, Brys Beddict. This time, there will be no mistakes. Yes, it was me who nudged you to take that mouthful of poisoned wine—oh, the Chancellor had not anticipated such a thing, but he can be forgiven that. After all, how could I have imagined that you'd found a guardian among Mael's minions?

This time, instead of a nudge, the Errant opted for the body slam.

It's possible that more than one person added poison, but the Errant doesn't mention anyone else.

If you live in a castle, poison is probably just a regular part of your diet.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
