This is the official poll for 2015 Hall of Fame vote. You will get one vote. The votes will be anonymous. The nominee with the most votes will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The poll will close on November 21st. Feel free to campaign for who you think deserves it most (all are worthy).

I'll farm out the writing of their worthiness to someone far wittier than me, if you are interested in doing so, PM me.

The nominees are as follows:

Egwene

Apt(orian)

Worry(wort)

Illuyankas

Silencer

D'rek should be here as well. Silly D'rek.
Thanks for participating. People come here and look for help with this really dense and tricky series so these people deserve credit for all the work they do. Steven Erikson and ICE are counting on you!

There can be only one. GO!

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I agree, D'rek really should have been here! You should have ignored her protests!

Voted Illy - the award should go to someone who has been an active member here for a long time and as I know all nominees about equally well and they are all equally brilliant... the decider is...

Illy lives just down the road and if we happen to bump into each other in Exeter, maybe he'll buy me a drink :) :)

Even as a relatively new member of the fora, all of those names ring a bell and that in itself says a lot. (Although one is as of recently predominantly connected to **NSFW** issues in my mind.)

So, if you all don't mind a relatively uninformed user casting a vote, then my vote goes to Egwene for their work on the wiki.
'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, 'it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.'

'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things.'

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master — that's all.'

One Malazan member, one vote. Everyone who has an account, other than modpuppets, gets a vote. Lurkers, new members, old members, really old members, and even Apt gets a vote.

Now imagine that cake was an erotic penis-shaped red velvet cake and Illy took one slice near the bulbous end and you could see those delicious red crumbly innards.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Who backs up their most important files?! If they're so important, why would you show such distrust? That's like making your spouse sign a prenup. It's the less important things you need to worry about, because they're the most tenuous, the things that might disappear from your life the most readily. If a file is really that important, it would never leave you in the first place.

That alone should make Worry this year's winner.

He's allowed to give those now that he's married or something, right? I think that's how it works.

Did the poll disappear?

It's not showing up for me anymore. I haven't touched it, otherwise there'd be this "edited" tag on it.

Yes, I insist on committee being called to investigate this diabolical scheme.

Last I saw it was:

Egwene 8
Apt 7
Worry 4
Illy 4
Silencer 1
