Yeah, they did a good job of making him look like a young Ned. People thought he looked like Jojen when he was cast, so some theorized he was cast for Howland Reed. Not sure what phib was thinking; apparently he was so caught up in making fun of my bad facial recognition skills that he tripped himself. (In my defense, the only ones I couldn't name were Oberyn and Daario, and I knew I was going to feel stupid when someone named Oberyn. I think his face just looks unusually round in that setting. All the faces look strange, hence me being unsure about so many of them. Only a few are really clear, like Cersei and Arya.)

What a badass episode. I do think GRRM is going for something similar with Dany in the books. Tyrion's 7 year plan actually works assuming Dany's going to take the Iron Throne and then come back to Essos to enforce it. I don't think that's ultimately what will happen, but it's a good plan for her going forward. Mereenese knot, untied.

Tyrion is going to hop on a dragon at some point this season. It was my first thought when the tension started building between him and Missandei and Grey Worm.

So we got our bastard letter after all, slightly reworded. I like that Jon didn't even technically leave the Wall yet. I also like the lecture he got from Dolorous Edd about duty. But the best part of all at the Wall was Tormund making eyes at Brienne. God, I hope that happens. That would be amazing.

So sad to see the death of Osha. I knew we wouldn't be that lucky, for Ramsey to die so early, but I couldn't help hoping for it during that scene.

I'm looking forward to next week. What will Sansa do about Littlefinger? I'd love to see the end of him this season.

I watch it at a friend's place BC he does parties. But I've started talking to someone who flat out is way more entertaining than the show live watch. So I'll catch this week's in the middle of the week.

Heard Jon and Sansa are on-screen together for first time ever.
