This is why I'm suspicious of you protecting the majority of the thread.

3 scum. Almost a third of players and 8 players with 4 posts or less.

So far no one else has tried to defend that route which makes me think that Telas might be a red herring and you have something to gain.

Any reason you quoted my prod ay Aranatha?

That's all the contribution they had for us, and their excitement made me wonder what role was given to them.

Really? Because I would have said Hood's Path's first post, or even Omtose's, indicated more excitement about the game, which makes me wonder why you singled out Aranatha.

Maybe Telas isn't scum but maybe you are and you know another low poster is.

Oooh, that's not OMGUS at all!

I'm not defending anyone. I'm bored of low poster hunts that inevitably bag us a relatively disinterested townie, and leave us with no connections for the next day. Plus and also, low poster hunts don't actually encourage anyone to play the game, just to post enough drivel to not be the lowest poster.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say with that quote, but you seem to be arguing against the low poster hunt, which just makes you look like you're pretending to be indecisive.

This is why voting based on post counts is stupid this early in the game. Many people won't really get involved until the serious stuff starts. More people will inflate their post count with rubbish because it's easy to get away with on day one.

I like this Hanas speculation rather than random-telas speculation. AND, if he comes up innocent, we can consider this a deflection from lower posters. An info win-win!

Recently he took a Kenyan Iranian to the pictures. That was his description of her anyhow.

I am down with a Hanas lynch. I thought that he was signaling Hood right from the get go.

Checking in-

I'm not sure what the sudden rush to lynch Hanas is about. Now while I don't think refusing to lynch for days on end is a "fun" idea or what PS had in mind. I'm really not in a rush to jump on a lynch train day 1 when there will be no penalty for the town.

So Omtose and Denul, why the sudden rush to lynch?

Do scum usually paint themselves a target for a lynch this early in the game. You think I'm going to come up scum when I'm the loudest voice in the thread?

Even if there was to be a high posting scum the general trend would be for them to blend in, not make any waves and agree with others rather than venture their own opinions.

Logically we had a better shot of hitting scum by prodding those non entities further.

The votes piling up on me are moronic at best. Scum don't need to signal because they know of at least one other scum, if I signalled someone AND was scum then that'd be easily fucking traced back to whoever I supposedly signalled.

Denul st least mentions signalling which is a reason even if it is a moronic reason. But you Omtose, You assume I'm going to come up innocent but will use the information to try and tag a low poster.

Although I want people to analyse my train if I'm lynched, I'd still prefer us to lynch a likely scum member first.

I say Liosan didn't like being called a low poster anscc upped his count a little but I also wonder why he didn't like Telas reaching 2 early votes. We had 15 hours to go and focus seems to have shifted to me and away from the original line of thought from Demelain.

Noticing and voting for signaling when there are three scum whom only known one other one is the only way to find scum. A signaling case is the strongest possible case. Doing a strickly low poster hunt on day 1 catches scum how often.....0001% of the time. Same for a high post count lynch. Much more likely to get town with either one of those. In this case for this set up it is all about the scum (all symps now) trying to keep each other alive.

Just for shits and giggles I will remove vote and look at other possible signaling. But your "your like my brother" post smacks of scum trying to get a signal in quickly.

So after looking through the thread these other things stand out for me.

Hanas and Aranatha's interaction.

Yeah, you got one too?

And Karosis's calling out of the Nephilim (who are typically referred to as offspring of fallen angels and human women) which if I understand this game correctly would be the scum.

I agree a low poster hunt on day 1 doesn't really make much sense
What interests me are the early posts by Liosan, Omtose and Hoods Path about closing the game without a lynch and when there is no night option

Denul what was the point of the remove? I can see your going to try to paint me as a common denominator.

@Karosis

Why does that jump out to you?

If we are going to consider Karosis then you need to add Telas, as he had the diablo dice reference that could of been them signaling to each other. Otherwise, it doesn't come off that suspicious to me.

You find yourselves in a totally original tale of heaven versus hell. Simple-minded humans share the mortal plane with angels and demons, who try to influence them as best they can. The Code states that no direct interference is permitted. Both sides, however, are prone to interpreting the Code more as a set of guidelines than hard and fast rules, and should something happen to awaken their wrath, then it is always humans who will pay first.
You have quite a treasure there in that horadric cube

I don't have to try to paint you as anything. Your post interactions can do that.

I removed because there is still a bit of time left in the day and I am online so I don't have to hurry to leave my vote. I also want to do due diligence for other interactions. Today is the day for scum to try to signal each other. Of course we could let today time out and force more interaction between people by extending day 1. Which is certainly an option in this game.
