In the books Avi and Elayne go through a One Power ritual simulating being pushed out of a womb together mystically making them twin sisters in a since with a Warder-lite bond. The scene I’m referring to happens in the later bks between 9-11 but having the knowledge that Avi and Elayne go through this binding ritual with the Power to become 1st sisters just makes this decision to have them be lovers is just so ick. So I would argue that:

1. They are not biological sisters, so there is no incest of any kind.
2. Things that happen later in the books have a decent shot of not happening in the show as the adaptation seemed to choose to widen the romantic relationships from just Rand & Every Girl.
3. It was a hot scene, and even my wife was like "Oh myyyyy" so...I fail to see the complaint.

I would have zero problem with that specific thing if RJ been not so specific about not only the core of their relationship but the clear rules defining the thruplet aspect. One at a time. They will forever be Mystical Sisters in my head. Min on the other hand I would have much less to say about if they just had to throw it in.

This shit show has made me realize I like the books way more than I thought I did. Hell even Winter Dragon hits better in 2025. It’s still shit but it was mostly accurate aside from the ending.

Well I’d sure hope not after the direction change they took them down. That would be creepy as all fuck.

There’s only 1 incest thing I’ve ever been ok with but still being eeoow about in a certain GGK book that you don’t like. And the only reason I’m ok with with it is because I’m living with the characters as I read them and their religion/holy figures had a case of it.

Also I take Rosamund’s post today of her “hanging up her ring” as the final nail in the coffin of the #saveWoP campaign. Only 187k signatures. It’s done.. if it somehow managed to get another service to pick it up I would no longer even hate watch it to keep my single click off their charts.

Rafe really damaged the property imo and I think I see one of 2 situations playing out. The most likely is that we are in for a 10-20 year wait before anything else is attempted cause the ip is to tainted after that garbage pile he put out. Or it will happen fast for Hollywood time as Sony/IWoT sells the tainted rights at a reduced price to someone/s that knows how much $ this thing could be worth if done correctly in good faith to RJs work and rakes in the $ while rubbing/loln in Rafes face. I got to be honest after Frieren S1 I’m convinced animation is the proper way to fully do it justice but I want Live Action much more.

I do not think like sooooooo many people this clusterfuck was all we will ever get. If that’s the case though then I’d rather have nothing compared to more of this bile in throat show.

If I was pressed about anything I may like it would be some costuming. Certainly not anything Seanchan related with those pacifiers and finger nail blade replacements.

If I was pressed to pick my top rated ep it would be S3 ep 4. I think this ep was probably more of a wake up call to Rafe that he should have been more faithful to the source material of his adaptation. While it was the best ep by far it was also the ep that wound up pissing me off the most of the entire series. Could have been getting kudos the entire time homie and grown your audience by book fans word of mouth. Instead you went and turned that source off mostly in the opening monologue of ep 1.

In near future AI will be able to bang out a billion TV adaptations... with all the incest you want. And adapted to your particular tastes and worldview, since it will almost certainly have access to your data. Could match it even better if you allow it to collect biometrics in VR/AR.

Any costuming you desire, (if private) any dialogue, any plot... and while right to likeness might limit which actors can appear in it, you could insert yourself (or an idealized version thereof) and any other consenting adults in whichever role you feel like.
