ECLIPSE VI R6: IH, CF, Tatts, D'rek, Tapper, Blend , Gnaw, Twelve, Khell

Action Phase Round 3

Turn 3

Tatts - I flip colony ships and Build 2 dreads in homeworld +3 -16 == 0

IH - upgrade my dreads with improved hull

Tapper

CF - BUILD Cruiser and interceptor in my Tier 1 hex -8 mats == 1 remaining

D'rek - I'll trade 6 money for 2 science and research Advanced Mining.

Twelve - build - either 2 cruisers or a crusier and two ints in 211.

Blend - provisional is to move two Interceptors from my HW into the double ancient hex

Gnaw -

Khell

Turn 2

Tatts - Provisional upgrade dread with flux missile over hull and in space

IH - Provisional research star bases -3 sci == 5 left

Tapper - Build two dreads in my homeworld -16 mats

CF - UPGRADE blueprint for cruiser with fusion drive over drive, ion cannon over Gauss shield.

D'rek - EXPlore Tier 2.
  • Orient it connected to my two tier 1 hexes but not my homeworld.
  • Influence it.
  • Colonize both population slots on it and the advanced money on Vega.

Twelve - Move 2 int from 211 to gnaws home world. Return cube to science.

Blend - Pulsar move my dread to the double ancient hex north of NY home world

Gnaw - Return cube to money. Build two starbases in homeworld. -6 mats == 1 remains.

Khell - Flip a colony ship for 1 Science.
  • RESEARCH Plasma Cannons for 4 Science. +1 -4 == 0
  • Do I get a discovery now?
  • 1d20: 17 [1d20=17] Ion Disrupter
  • place that on my dreadnaught blueprint in the blank space.

Yes you do. But I'm not sure if it's right when you get to four or at the end of the round after you get 4. I think right away but Gnaw would know better.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

because Khell and I are similar races I keep thinking that he's my big brother and he's stealing all the cool stuff that was meant for me.

CF after this round Is over you may not want to Ally with me. I could be in a weak position but I'm definitely considering it yes. IH and i may have a little fight for the ancient homeworld.

Just went back through the early thread. Unless we discussed it in one of the other game threads I don't think a decision was reached

I only read up to where we started picking races, so it may have happened afterward, but I'm thinking it's normal alliance rules unless somebody knows different.

I know -- it will be interesting. I didn't think you had enough mats kicking around for 2 dreads.

Get some goddamn computers on those things though -- 8 missiles aren't going to do squat unless you can hit with them.

I propose, seeing as we're lined up nicely by timezone, that we go back to the Second Pass chooses direction method of turn rotation. It went faster that way.

Sorry been really busy. We didn't decide a house rule though a turn cut off was suggested. Happy to go with regular alliance rules (basically I wanted to avoid turn 1 alliances which we have)

And it's my go... I guess I'll upgrade my dreads with improved hull as I'm sure I was going to do that at some point.

If it would make things faster timezone-wise then sure, I'm all for it. Nobody has passed yet this round so it's a good time to make the rule change if we want it in effect for beginning of Round 4.

Only complication I can see is if was going to affect somebody's existing strategy. Doesn't do anything to my strategy at all, so I'm happy.
