I'm calling it now. I'm going to get the ancient homeworld in my draw.

Terrific. Here's me happy with my initial draw. Then this happens. I hate getting off to a bad start.

Reject hex.

If I were to invest in a laptop which type would you recommend?

If you want portability and don't care much about gaming power, get a lenovo thinkpad yoga.

I got one for work a few months ago and I fucking love it. Fantastic screen, good trackpad, has the classic lenovo nubbin for mouse control if you prefer, and a touchscreen.

That and it weighs a whopping 3 pounds. I do a fair bit of business travel these days and it beats the hell out of having a big clunky gaming laptop.

Much better result for me... I'll align it in a way where the two excess wormholes point northeast (to Tier I) and southeast (tier II to my/IH's side), please.

Hey, I just thought of something, shouldn't we each have an Interceptor on our starting hex too?

When we have many pages of conversation, it'll be nice to know exactly where to find it on the drive rather than sift through the thread, though. Right now, not a big deal. probably more of a factor for rep/discos/etc

you can't just influence the two discovery sections. You have to have a ship there and influence post combat.

My hex will go on the map exactly as it is in the picture in the above post, if that makes any difference to how you'll orient.

Well, Twelve, the good part is that you can put the ancient between you and Gnaw so he can't try to grab your discoveries before you. The bad part is it makes it harder for you to get to him to attack him, which given he's Planta is somewhat necessary.
