Actually Retract all of the above. I need to take a look at the map more closely and I can't do that right now. I just know the ancient will connect to the warp portal one way so the orientation is one of two ways.

No, you were right. There's only one way to put it where the ancient blocks Blend's Warp Portal and you are connected to a discovery instead of the ancient. (Ancient WHs pointed NW and SW)

Okay do this then.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Explore south tier III

Ok, before I roll this, let's make sure we have all the hexes.

I think I need to be more specific. Orient Ancient portion facing warp portal and tier III

I need to go home and get some sleep. My brain is just not functioning. Rotate it where I have access to both discoveries and the warp portal is blocked by ancients.

it is

I think we are missing a couple.

Everything from 301 to 382 (regulars, hive and warp portals) is there.

Above that, we have in the list:

393 - Geminga (Pulsar)
394 - Simeis 147 (Pulsar)
395
397
398

The other 3 are? 1 nebula, two supernovas? Is that right?

Ah, I see. My cheat sheet has both Supernova 1 and Supernova 2 on it, but of course we're only using 2. Makes sense.

Ok, we're good, I will roll.

Sorry about the tier 2 explores mess, it's my fault I knew there were 14 explores in old eclipse but I didn't account for the addition of a homeworld and the nebula, so when I looked at the randomised list I had I thought they were all there and didn't bother to check. Stupid mistake. right now to catch up!

Provisional (I won't be online until tomorrow): explore the tier 1 hex, turning it away from the Orion tier 1 CF will undoubtedly want to get.
If a second provisional is required: explore the tier 2 between IH and myself, if open. If not, I will have to think.

Am I right to believe that CF should get a discovery tile, then I should get one?

I can do the draws if someone confirms that for me.

Only if CF and you decide to put down an influence disc. I think we can safely assume CF would indeed want to do that.

He is Planta, so he explored twice. Got 211 with the first one, then 316 with the second one.

Trying to wall me off from you. If I was walling you off I'd have turned the hex so that I could block your tier III

Which I probably should do but not going to.

hex 204

http://orokos.com/roll/254992 / 1d8: 1 [1d8=1]

hex 209

So I draw 204 and 209 and can choose between them
