Oh. Colors.

Are colors choose-able? I'd like black please.

I recommend getting rid of grey in favor of something else. Too damn hard to see the grey cubes and ships.

Both of those are basic 16 bit colors and are still easier to see than grey.

Can you upload the ship files Gnaw? I don't have dreads, cruisers, interceptors or colony ship pngs.

Also your score and tech boards

EDIT: you are missing 3 techs from the initial draw as you drew 3 rare techs, it's probably going to be easier using the same spreadsheet, so if you upload your tech spreadsheet that would save me some time recreating it!

Ok, I'm talking super duper pink here though. Like annoying facebook sunset photo pink with lens glare and everything.

Like, if I am not seeing afterimages after looking at my influence discs I'm going to be pretty disappointed. I want those babies to flippin SHINE

EDIT

here is the wikipedia article on pink

http://en.wikipedia..../Shades_of_pink

they are all way too tame

I've been Magenta/Pink twice before but it wasn't as crazy as CF seems to want... CF, you're welcome to it :D

If it's possible I'd like to be a purple/violet (a shade without any pink hints, totally violet) if it can be distinguished from the other colours and the board easily enough. If not, then I'm not too picky what I get.

Additional 3 techs are quantum grid, gluon computer and gauss shield.

Cf and Gnaw, I've sent you a link to my files so you should be able to access them and edit, let me know if you can't (I'm using inkscape).

I have to head out for a bit, not sure if I'll have chance to do any more work on them tonight, but hopefully tomorrow.

Also if tapper shows up and picks race, so it's not slowed down overnight. I pick whichever of hydrans or lyra are left and discard one cube for money.

What is this discard one cube thing?

Aren't we suppose to orient our homeworlds as we pick our race? I seem to remember doing that waaaaaaaay back in the day.Crap. Where am I on the map? I also seem to remember there are three players that can only have one connection to the middle tier hexes as well. That would have totally factored into the race I picked.

Yeah, you're right. We're supposed to orient as we pick (but removing a cube comes after).

Since Khell picked first, IH is "first player":

So, Khell, as soon as possible you should orient your hex, then I will orient mine, and so on. And then we must all remove a cube (or if you don't care you can just declare the cube removal right away).

Oh, and everyone note that at least one wormhole must connect to Tier 2. Other than that there is no restrictions on orientation.

Just so I'm sure, Terrans start with 2 money and 3 each of science and materials right?

Also, from what I can tell, there's no definite starter hex for Terrans - do I just use whatever hex the Eridani are meant to start on?

There is a definite starter hex for Terrans. The name varies for each Terran faction, but otherwise they are all the same: 3VP, 1 artifact, 1 money, 1 adv money, 1 science, 1 adv science, 1 materials slots.

In the rules I'm reading, it says that each faction chooses their starter hex - this is in the Eclipse rule book.

By choosing a race you are choosing a starting hex.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I guess my question is what is my starting hex? How can I orient it if I have no idea? Where does it say what hex my starting hex is?

For all the alien races, it says which hex number is their starter hex in the rulebook, but for Terrans it just says to choose your starting hex.
