Take a picture of your library area , here is well mine as some books are stacked in a different room.

I'm doing this cause I have every intention if one of your all got a better area of stealing that idea.

Just turn your head slightly side like.

I see City of Bones and The Bonehunters are near each other. From that would it be correct to assume you organise by theme? :)

BTW were you a bit under the weather when you posted?

It appeared the right way round when I looked at it on the iPad but is horizontal on the desktop, strange that!

I'm seeing a few similarities with my own, liking the R.Scott Bakker hardcovers, those are my favourite covers for the PoN though I only have them in MMPB. It's a shame Penguin have dropped him, I loved their covers for the Aspect-Emperor books, so it looks like I'm doomed to have a mismatched set once The Unholy Consult arrives.

I'm curious about all the leather books on the top shelf though and the monstrous tome on the bottom right hand side, they look cool! My only "leather" ones are the Barnes and Noble editions of Dune and the Foundation trilogy.

They look awesome, unfortunately looks like states only and my OCD would rage against the sets not being complete!

Their Dune and Book of the New Sun versions look amazing though!

I managed to get the the SFBC omnibus of the complete Book of the New Sun for around £10 last year so can't complain too much.

Okay, i'll play.

This is the martial arts related books only bookshelf. Stereotypical Bruce Lee book given ironic pride of place front left.

Spoilered in case of sizing error:

Spoiler

EDIT - Spoiler was required.

As you can guess from the piles on the floor, i need a bigger bookshelf.

And a bigger house.

Ack, Deadhouse Gates is upside-down!
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"
―Gene Wolfe, The Citadel of the Autarch
