It may well have; but to have two moons, as well as two suns, in the same position in the sky at night as the suns are in the day, seems so unlikely that in Rebels it looks like a mistake - like they just left the suns there at night too.

But then its totally weird that our moon is 40 times smaller than our sun which is 40 times further away from earth so they look exactly the same size in the sky.

It just looked like a mistake in Rebels.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Latest trailer.

Goddamn I love this!

Oh, but the forshadowing of Kanan's death with him and Hera finally discussing their love...oh man, that death is going to GUT punch me.

Glad to know Hera makes it out of this season alive and into ROGUE ONE (Vanessa Marshall was at Fan Expo this weekend and said the reason that she thinks that Hera is not at the base and they have to call her over the PA system in RO is that she's already got the Ghost powered up and is heading for Scarif...which is so badass that I can't even!).

Anyways, feast your eyes. Man, I love this show!

Seconded. Love this show, really looking forward to some Rogue One tie-ins and finding out the fate of the Ghost crew...

Wait. Why is the DS project referred to as Star Dust by Tarkin? Star Dust is the hidden file for the DS weakness.

I've only seen RO twice so every line isn't seared into my brain like the others but I don't remember them calling it Star Dust in it.

Stardust was Galen Erso's name for the whole project of the Death Star design. The imperials had no idea that the flaw existed or that Galen would name the thing after his daughter's nickname so she'd know what to look for in the archives.

But yeah, the DS was called Project Stardust.

And it was referred to as such in RO?

I ll have to rewatch soon. I remember the nick name and file name.

Yeah. It's also mentioned as that in the prequel novel.

It yeah, only Galen knew the meaning of the Stardust title...and how it might be used against the empire down the road.

Damn we're going to be on catch up again. No sign of it yet; maybe in a couple of weeks time if we're lucky.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Got my Seasons Pass for S4 this morning, and watched the first part of the opener on my way to work. Solid Mandalore stuff.

Will watch the second half on my way home.

I don't get what you guys see in this show.

Watched about half of season 1. Nothing to keep me interested.

Season 1 is the weakest, where it was still finding its balance.

Watch Season 2 onwards and they up their game considerably.

Seconded. It starts pretty Disney-basic but over S1 gradually improves. Portions are a slog but you can safely ffwd and not worry about missing key story beats or whatever.
It ends strong, and then S2 really raises game.

While I do enjoy this show a lot, the fact that it's targeted toward kiddies really jumps out at me a few times an episode — it happened several times in the two-part season opener. I'm always just left thinking, "Why? Just leave that 10 second scene out." That said, the characters and story are even better than the later seasons of Clone Wars.

I'd say that it would be better if it were targeted toward an older demographic, but it'd probably be worse — more sex, more relationship drama, more tropes.

Why can't it be for kids? And therefore families?

I like that I can eventually watch (well, re-watch) REBELS with my daughter when she's old enough...and I'll be able to do it sooner than she could watch TCW.

I find the balance they strike admirable, in making it enjoyable for me as an Old....and youngsters who are just getting into Star Wars.

I have the main movies for more adult fare, like ROGUE ONE.

I'm not saying it can't be for kids. I'm just saying that I personally would enjoy it more if: it had more depth, stronger consequences, more complex arcs, and less repetition (I know these are vague, but I can't think of of how to better elucidate what I'm thinking right now).

I don't even necessarily think that adding the above would make it more adult or unappealing to kids; it'd just make it better.

Disclaimer: I don't have kids.
