Is this a thing from the series or something from the game?
*Quick google-fu*
From the series, but as I'm in work I can't take a look at it. It sounds like a big deal, but is it a good thing or a bad thing in general?

Six months after the defeat of Amon and the Equalists, Korra has finally mastered the art of airbending. Mako has joined the Republic City Police Force, Bolin is trying, unsuccessfully, to keep the Fire Ferrets pro-bending team alive, and Asami Sato is struggling to keep her father's company, Future Industries, intact after her father's humiliating betrayal. With Tenzin, the four young members of Team Avatar visit Korra's and Tenzin's family in the Southern Water Tribe for the Glacier Spirits Festival on the winter solstice. The celebration is attacked by an angry dark spirit, but Unalaq, Korra's uncle and the Chief of the Northern and Southern Water Tribes, repels it with his waterbending. He has displayed an ability to communicate with spirits that Korra has never seen before, so she apprentices herself to him, hoping that he could help her with her struggle to connect with her spiritual self.
Tenzin is dismayed to lose his student, but accepts that the Avatar must make her own way. He returns to Republic City, his sister Kya in tow, to pick up his family, including his brother, Bumi, and head to the Northern Air Temple so that Tenzin can teach his children about their Air Nomad roots.
Unalaq, his daughter Eska and son Desna always by his side, encourages Korra to open the Spirit Portals, noting that the world used to be one with the spirits, and that the closing of these portals has put up a barrier that has caused members of the Southern Water Tribe to forget their traditions.
As Korra is attempting to open the Southern Spirit Portal, Northern Water Tribe ships blockade the Southern Water Tribe, locking them away from the rest of the world. Varrick, of Varrick Industries, whose company is suffering from this blockade, begins secretly stirring up trouble and unrest in the Southern Water Tribe. No one seems to be the wiser, however, as he has set up Tonraq, Korra's father and Unalaq's brother, who has been vocally opposed to Korra's apprenticeship, as well as Unalaq's Northern Water Tribe blockade, to take the fall.
Mako knows better, however, and is now working to put together enough solid evidence to put Varrick behind bars. This is made more complicated by the fact that his good friend Asami is courting Varrick Industries to try and save her company, and that Varrick is attempting to recruit his brother, Bolin, to star in his propaganda 'movers' about Nuktuk, the Hero of the South, which he hopes to use to discredit the Northern Water Tribe's actions.
Amidst all this unrest, however, an even darker plan is unfolding. Though he has been careful to cover his tracks, Unalaq is actually using the Avatar to start Harmonic Convergence, a term signifying a time when both Spirit Portals are opened. Only during Ha rmonic Convergence can the dark spirit Vaatu be freed from the Tree of Life in the Spirit Realm, and fuse with him to make him into a Dark Avatar. It is his goal, ultimately, to rip the spirit of Raava from Korra and end the Avatar Cycle forever.
Will Korra discover that her plan to connect the Spirit Realm to the Physical Realm could have dark consequences? Will the machinations of all the other players in this game get in her way or hinder her? Can Team Avatar pull together to defeat the Dark Avatar?

So as I understand it, Varrick was a possible recruiter, so it is awesome we got rid of them day one.
Korra is the one opening the path to the Spirit realm.
Unalaq is the one who will be the Dark Avatar
The Dark avatar, once made, wants to kill Korra.

Vote Night
If I'm going to be lynched for suggesting we move the game along then I am going to at least try to move the game along
Are we actually going to lynch anyone here? I am not willing to do so, therer is too much we don't know yet, not going to jump on anything.
Are we actually not going to lynch Tennes?
Vote Tennes

The lynch is towns weapon. You're suggesting sitting back and letting scum drive the game.
How a lynch is important to the game, but misses the end of day.
Then has the audacity to rebuke us after the lynch. Hindsight is a wonderful thing when we didn't get a scum CF.
Does he read the thread to see why we did not end up lynching Tennes? No. J 'accuse straight away without reading up. This seems like a feigned reaction.

Now I'll go read why we were voting for him.
Fuck all reason.
The reason was in what I wrote. It was there for him to look at. The end of day went by quite quietly, so I would not be surprised if Togg turned out to be Unulaq.

At its heart, this game is a Town vs. Scum game, where scum is the Dark Avatar, and town are everyone else except for 2 independent roles. The addition of Personal Victory Conditions means that people who are on the same team for their General Victory Conditions will be at odds for their Personal Victory conditions. Though it's up to you how to play, it would be greatly appreciated if you tried to attain both your Personal and General VCs as the Personal VCs are there to make the game more interesting.

So there was no night kill yet again. Or am I missing it? This either means that the deaths will =start right now as the "Harmonic Convergence has begun" or because whoever is scum has not gave in any orders, maybe because they didn't have the time? Maybe but doesn't seem all too possible.

At the moment I am thinking its because of one of 2 reasons;
1. That there are location requirments (in the same zone or adjacent or something?) for scum using their NK and they haven't got lucky yet or
2. That the scums actual goal is simply to get into position to raise the dark avatar and we have to find and catch them before then.
Pretty sure that the chances of scum not submitting actions for full 2 days in a row is probably nil

I assume it only matters to people who can go there and the rest of us can just ignore it. For that matter, it's not like this is Tales of the Desert and every location actually does something for everyone. For the most part we can just ignore locations altogether.

So your implying or trying to make us believe your implying that you have no role that utilizes location and location based mechanics?
That's right. I mean, sure, I can move from one location to another. But I have absolutely no information about what being in a particular location means - either from the OP or from role. It is not like Dresden where I can expect that killers can only kill in their location, nor like ToD where I know some locations give me certain benefits. To me they're just a few random, meaningless locations with no known importance.
Okay, the fact that Mockra blatantly lied and mislead us is a pretty good indication that Mockra was in fact, scum.
This will also lead into something I have noticed with another player that is playing like this. More will follow.
Sorry for the multiple posts and short chunks but I am at work.

Even a low poster if they saw they got scum would take the time necessary to try and screw people
Unless a normal poster is tying to make it seems that a low poster is forgetting night action kills.
Edit: But I don't thin that is the case. There is something else happening as we can see. I wouldn't be surprised if more than one person will die in the next night to make up for this.

Bullshit.
I'm not buying that one. A townie new player would have went back and carefully read the OP after the "spiritwalker" comment almost got them lynched. Tholen's response to you that ended with a vote on Togg and you voting night leads me to believe that you're either a scum new player or a veteran.
