Can we wait a bit please? I was absent all day yesterday and am only just catching up now. So if we are wanting to coordinate then oerhaps give people like me time to do it!

Also would I be right in assuming that there'll be a Christmas freeze?

Help him become DA by preventing others from killing or disabling him.

So maybe it was possible for someone to prevent Tiam from ever becoming DA?
Any other things I missed?

Someone who has read the series; where is vaatu defeated? can he negate the fog of souls thing? is any mention made of him being immortal or especially vulnerable in any region or location?
Just reading the wiki on the Dark Avatar now.
Because of Unalaq, they definitely have some form of superior waterbending. They fend off heavy bombardment from armed forces in Republic City, so I would take that to assume they have heavy-duty defensive actions. They have a corrupt form of healing, whatever that means.
The Dark Avatar seems to be almost defeated by itself - that is, turning its own powers against itself. Korra arrives in astral projection form, and cleanses Vaatu using Unulaq's 'own pacification technique' and destroys the Dark Avatar.
So there might be reason, for those who can, to project.
It also might be worth bearing in mind that DA's VCs may not be to kill everyone else, but something else. In the wiki it says they were attempting to unite the physical and spiritual realms.

Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

Seriously, one of you remove from Tiam for at least a few hours. I'd like to hear if anyone has any further thoughts based on the description of the DA defeat I posted above (obvs, the caveat is Blend could have put in any number of changes, but so far he seems to have had us stick to the plot of the series).

So what are you thinking? Republic City required for location, a bunch of us to disable the DA while Korra is required to "pacify" it?

I don't think Korra is mandatory to success, otherwise we'd all be relying on one player remaining allive. But I'm sure it's much more preferable that they are alive and able to help.
Likewise, I don't think we have to pin DA to a specific tile, because they could just not move there.
Do those able have to astral project to defeat DA? I don't know. It's a possibility.
Unfortunately, they could currently be on any physical realm tile. I attempted to work out but it's not possible - we don't know if they projected straight away to the Spirit Library or moved there from elseplace. First step is finding out where they are - I don't know if anyone has any sort of 'sense' powers to see others on their tile?
If not, the other option for finding them is for those with offensive powers to target Tiam and see if they do so successfully...bearing in mind they will probably be able to reflect/deflect said powers.

Has it only been one day since the DA showed up? Kept thinking it's been two days.
