I agree with Tennes. We need to slow down and work a good strategy to get this working correctly.
I would like to assume that the DA can do anything we can do and may be limited on the actions day/night.
We have to find the blockers first then correct?

I think fog of souls is our best bet. Hopefully even Dark avatar can't perform actions in it either, and even if he can, we can just leave once we know. If he can't we can just sit tight, let everyone pop in with chance or when Iroh lends a hand. And the random nature of it prevent tia from sniping us as we pass through X region. Once that is done and we are all gathered, we can wait for Iroh to drop by, and hitch a ride to X location. The tree if we think that is where he can be defeated, or one of the portals to the real world if thats the case.
Someone who has read the series; where is vaatu defeated? can he negate the fog of souls thing? is any mention made of him being immortal or especially vulnerable in any region or location?

OFFICIAL MOD NOTICE

I was also thinking a speed lynch of Tiam would show us something since hopefully Tiam has not had time to put in actions, but coordinating may be better...the only problem I see here is that whatever we decide to coordinate on, Tiam can see too. If his powers go beyond what our plans assume, that's bad news for us.

No problems thanks for the quick update.
I can heal and guard, guard is nothing special, it blocks 1 action, but my heal has 2 forms, real world is a regular heal, and in the spirit world it PREVENTS EVERY NEGATIVE ACTION. Obviously I would prefer we leave the fog to go somewhere in the spirit realm, but if others have more powerful real world abilities I can block a DA action each night instead.

Yeah we need to ( a ) group up and ( b ) use our abilities in concert to negate their advantages.
I am thinking me using spirit-heal on a target we make tiamatha attack with the redirection is the best bet for defense at the moment.

No, this is my entire point...assuming the DA has the same powers we do may be wrong - can someone verify otherwise? And if that assumption is wrong, our plans may effectively be worthless.
Why does assuming this help us like you're saying it will?

If he has a ranged attack he could sit outside and pick us off one by one.
I suspect the LP is permanent - think how the game would play out if Tiams henchmen immediately outed him on thread and got him lynched dead. That's a bad situation to be in for Tiam so there has to be a mechanism there to prevent it.
FWIW I would suggest we not lynch anyone as the game stands, we can only hit town - although I may be partial to a Tholen lynch to check out his story. I'm not completely sold there are no shields too although the scan through the wiki doesn't indicate any.

That PS posted and clarified the mistake is enough for me. I don't know that DA would get a wider range than us, would make it nearly impossible to catch them and I get the idea it is supposed to be an actual confrontation.
Since some people can't enter the spirit realm shall we just all try to group up in the physical ASAP? Don't announce any locations at the moment, and move about in the physical realm to make you less likely to get hit, but just say "I am now in the physical realm" and once we are all there, we will be using all our blocking and redirecting on tiam all the time anyway, so we will then say "be at X location in 3 days"
