Wait, was there a Twin Peaks movie after the show? What was it about? Did it try to wrap up the storyline from the cancelled second half of the season?

Fire Walk With Me. It's a prequel, so it doesn't wrap up the show's forward plot, but it actually sheds a lot of light and expands on the show's themes to an immensely satisfying degree (imo). You get way more understanding than resolution -- plus it's a fairly hard R-rated movie -- so it wasn't really an easy swallow for a lot of show fans at the time of release.

Yah she was around 10 years by the time of Boogie Nights. Frankly, I am SHOCKED you haven't seen License to Drive. You skipped the Coreys in their heyday?!

For the true Twin Peaks experience you should wait 26 years before beginning Return.

Yes. That is definitely among the best things I've ever seen on television. I'm still feeling loopy over it the next day.

I don't think they're aiming for a season 4. This should be what wraps up the entire thing.

Great episode though, a lot of really warm moments for characters I have a lot of affection for, both new and old.

Seems like it's closer to the surface after the attack by Ike. The coffee, the flag, the shoes, and the electric socket all seemed to jog him pretty close.

I wanna cry every time I see Hawk talking with the Log Lady, and every once in a while in an Albert scene too. The show has done such a great job of integrating, rather than avoiding, everyone's aging.

She died in Sep 2015, the tank isn't a prop. You can tell that all of Hawk's end of the calls were filmed later, and the emotion in his face is real.

Yah what a weird way to reintroduce her, but that scene had me crackin up by the end.

That episode was full of weirdo goodness.

Am I wrong or did this suggest Audrey is in some sort of weird space. Like maybe she's still in a coma? Or doing hypnotherapy, or something like that.

Lots of weird time stuff too. Sarah Palmer's boxing show chief among them.

I forget exactly who said it (maybe Sheriff Truman's Skype call with the old doctor) but it was established that she was in a coma in the hospital, and BadCoop was seen visiting her before disappearing from Twin Peaks.
