What's weird is that I was a bitter critic of ICEb in his previous books, going as far as to point out specific sentences and set ups that were bad.
But he won me over with Dancer's Lament. It's a genuinely good book and it displays his strengths as a writer well.
The UK had always gotten the Malazan books ahead of the USA release. This is a long standing tradition going back to 1999. The authors have nothing to do with this delay.
