I'll vote for Fandypants. But I'd like to see what Jalan, Okaros, and Iparth have to say on all this.

I don't know if I can directly quote it. The PM's I'm waiting on from PS are about what I can tell in thread.

I'd like to see what he says. You seem to be taking him at his word. I'm not.

Gait is lynched.

He was Alfeo de Montferrat, Barone de Montferrat, a proud Noblesse noble.

It is now night. I will resolve it in the next 15 minutes. Story blurb will be inserted here, tomorrow, too, but for now all you need to know is that Montferrat, such a pleasant little estate on the east coast of Noblesse, was suddenly beset by four of its neighbours, its plucky little army of peasants with spears and the occassional nobleman with a mounted retinue routed and hunted down, and the mercenary companies raised on loans were bought off, then turning to plunder the same villages they were hired to protect.

Such is life in Noblesse.

It is now night.

PS, any chance this is going to get filled out?

Uhm, yeah.

Alfeo de Monferrat, lord of a pleasant little estate on the east coast of Noblesse, was mostly known for his obsession with flour. The rolling hills of his estate were prime grain growing fields, and Alfeo had spent two decades on experimenting with windmills and grinding stones, trying to create the perfect flour for a bread dish he called 'pizza'. Maybe he should have paid more attention to his armed forces, his allies and even more importantly, his neighbours. One of them ignited a feud long forgotten by everyone, including Alfeo, and his neighbours seized the opportunity to divide the bountiful fields between them. Alfeo's money bought him some mercenaries, but they were bought off. The armed clashes were one against four and no-one can win those odds. In the end, Alfeo was dead, and it turned out his windmills were also fantastic chimneys, for the fires lit up so high the smoke could be seen over the mountains.
Everyone is entitled to his own wrong opinion. - Lizrad

I am not taking him at his word. I just assume that he is going to lie more. It is obvious that he isn't a noble. I just go off of the he isn't a noble. Lynch him. Everything else is just a lie.

Well I obviously care about what you think. :) Why are you attempting to counter deflect off of someone who it looks like they made a mistake and revealed that they aren't a noble. It think that it is obvious that Nobles are the largest faction or at least started out as the largest faction. Why else would Tapper have put there role in as one does a RI role. Therefore anyone who betray knowledge or lack of knowledge of something that doesn't sit with them being in the noble faction is obviously not a Noble and therefore should be lynched by everyone in the noble faction. So if you belong to a smaller faction and want to hide in the bigger faction until you can recruit them you pretend to be noble. For people who don't or who don't try they should be lynched. It seems very straight forward to me.

I don't bother with looking at why a NK happened. It is a waste of time and nothing but WIFOM anyway. As for drawing a target. I don't give a shit. From what I have read over the last couple of game days. There has been a bunch of posturing and not very much poking. Yesterday there seems to have been only one lynch target. After the lynch switched on day 1. There was no attempt to go back and attempt to lynch either one of the two possibles before the switch. Obviously that switched happened for a reason. The most likely reason is that someone deflected off of a KNOWN partner and then managed to throw Gait under the bus.

Here is an idea why do you think that Fanderay thought that one faction was eliminated?

I was not saying I believe Fanderay is a part of the Independent Nobility, I specifically said I do not believe you are a part of them. Because any member of the IN would quickly realize that it's in their best interests to act like they are anything but.

Even if IN started with a voting majority (which I pointed out fisrt) there is no guarantee that they still have it or that they will have it tomorrow, it would be in the best interests of them to not be known on thread so that they would be able to benefit from the remaining neutral on thread and try to obliterate other factions by manipulating Faction A's members to lynch faction B's members and so on.

I do think what you called out about Fanderay is a good point, What I dislike about your post is your blatant posturing and how you declare that you're part of the IN. I was not trying to derail the Fanderay lynch anyway.

The other point about Fanderay that people raised (me attacking him and then siding with him) is a meta thing. I think I have him alted and I'm just trying to get a rise out of him, that doesn't mean I want to lose the game over it, thus when he raised a decent point about Lock on Day2 I voted with him, and there really was no other candidate on Day1 was there?

I do hope everyone realizes this, but the only thing we can confirm or reject by lynching Fanderay is the reveal of his new CF.

While it's tempting to check that, it might be a distraction to keep us from lynching one of his roled associates. At least we have a suspicion of where Fanderay stands.

So,

Vote Iparth

Ironically you were our target for a night kill. (just to get on your list) We changed to Cast at the last minute because of the vote shift you did. I figured I could build a case on you with it today and get you lynched.

First off there are recruiters. I was recruited last night. I'm not going to say who I'm with now, but it pains me to do it, I'm going to give the info of where I was. I was teamed up with Jalan. we were German, and we killed Cast last night.

I'm pretty sure Okaros is our leader. His signal was very easy to see. Ze enlightenment.

I'm kinda pissed. We were doing well I thought as a team.

Why didn't you kill on Night 1?

Vote Jalan

Because Fanderay claims he shared a NK with him. Jalan, will you back up Fanderays claims? Do you still have a NK? Does Fanderay?

Every other night...

I lost my powers (off thread comms with Jalan/NK) I hope he did too.

There where actually two candidates on day 1 before the switch to Gait. Fanderay and Arantha. One had 3 votes and the other had 4 votes when the switch was made. Both were just as good of an option as Gait based on just has hard reasoning as his lynch.

As for drawing a target. I am an RI (as all players will say) how exactly else am I suppose to fucking play the game unless it is through making myself a target and putting pressure on people. So yeah I am making myself a target. Why hasn't everybody been doing that?

As for my point. You didn't agree with it you said that I was suspicious for making it. So bullshit on that explanation. Try again.

Well if you think that keeping members of a cult alive so that they can build up more members while we try to find the recruiter is a good idea stand up. Eventually they will have enough members to drive a train on those of us who aren't yet cult members and win. Personally I would rather lynch cult and keep them down. But hey you lot have been a brilliant brain trust so far. Aren't you all glad I am back.

Recruiting passes down the ranks does it not? Therefore Fanderay is not a good target to go for to lynch yet. Take out the master. A known recruit Fanderay inherits the recruit. Lynch Fanderay.

Thanks for pointing out that you in fact said absolutely nothing about the vote or my reasons for voting for Fanderay. Instead you only pointed out that you didn't like me for voting for him because why would a Noble do that.

SO yeah there is no strawmanning going on. Just you attempting to back slide and say that you did think that Fanderay was suspicious. When you didn't say anything about it. So try again please.

No, that is not true by default. It may happen once for a recruiter but not always.
