I don't understand this reluctance to see there being more than one recruiter. Look at who keeps dying - independent nobility. Clearly this is a large group of players, and the others I assume are mostly all attempting to gather this group into their factions. That's what I'm assuming right now.

I'll vote Fanderay but I don't want to soeed rush the lynch before hearing again from Jalan.

Anything that can recruit can recruit cult members. Doesn't it seem a little bit strange that last night the kill went for Okaros rather then Jalan? If I was another teams killer I would have wanted to have taken out the competition.

I didn't want to switch to Fanderay. I could have but I didn't want to. Voting for Jalan because I wanted to hear from him and it tends to concentrate the mind a little.

The kill going for Okaros isn't at all suprising. Fanderay played him as part of his faction, potentially leader, so whoever had the other kill would have them as a primary target. Why take out an outed killer unless you need to, he could help reduce other faction(s) further.

As for how I know the cult exists? Well, Fandaray was my partner - we had offthread comms. I got a message at the start of Day 3 that the comms were ended, and then Fandaray decided to expose all of our wonderful oral sexing on thread. I suppose he could have...gone rogue? I don't know how else to interpret it besides cult.

No, I was just playing odds. Meanas seemed to basically say "hey, i'm a noble!" before the reveal by Fandaray. And Fandaray was voting Iparth (at a juncture and vote count that would have been risky to put on your master).

It's just speculation, so those could be wrong, but Fandy couldn't know how I'd react so I'm just trying to simplify.

Actually... how does that rule usually work? If cult recruits one of a pair of killers, do they both keep their kill ability?

I always thought the standard was that the paired killers remain paired killers, just one of them is now lying to the other in the off-thread comms since they became recruited.

Why not take out an outed killer of another faction? Your kidding right. The fact that they can kill you is a pretty good reason to take them out. Go for the direct threat first then take out the indirect threat. That is basic.
