I bet they didn't even have to make a cake or anything.

Or throw up on the back of a dog.

Some of us had to work really hard for the position of irrelevance we have today.

Congrats Venge and Drek (not sure congrats is the appropriate term for promotion to modhood but......).

I believe it was this Uncle Ben who said "With great power comes great responsibility". I think he was referring to Category E microwaves.

I've been passed over for the job for years. :D
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

Me too. I would be an excellent and completely impartial mod. I'd also have fun events! Like a random forum or subforum would spend a day in mandatory capslock under pain of death/temp bans/DOUBLE DEATH/embarassing avatar lockage.

(no joke I would be the best Inn mod for numerous reasons)
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I'm quite happy being the weaver thank you very much. No mod jobs or ascendant wars to worry about.

I just make spiffing garments and long range plans.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

What are you talking about??? Don't you know we're at war with the minions of Her Exalted Holiness for I am unworthy?

The future of the entire Off Topic forum section is at stake here!

Somebody needs to do a better job of getting the word out (looking at you our new tyrannical overlord whom we bow before)

But... why? Is this so that Silencer doesn't have to change PS and SH passwords anymore?

That is honestly the exact reason that lead to this happening :D

So now I have to contact 1 person who isn't on on weekends, and another who refuses to read the hardcover dresden books?

Of course, Silencer apparently can't read Cold Days (I assume he is illiterate), so I suppose this is an upgrade...

I do get on the forum on the weekends. I just refuse to play mafia or anything else that will take a ton of time. Plus you have several different ways you personally can get a hold of me. :p

Listen, your little excuses for your clear attempt to seize power are rather see-through, Jhistal.

I suppose this makes Abyss Topper and Silencer Surly? (And that is a horrible sentence, but it seems correct).

In this case it was much more the persistence of a 5 year old.

"Change the SH password", "Change the SH password", "Change the SH password. You know if you had mafia playing Mods we wouldn't be bothering you every week.", "Change the SH password", "Change the SH password", "Change the SH password. Immovable object meets endless waves of petty childishness. It finally gave way.
