Packers need to fix their run defense. #1 priority, no doubt about it.

Anyways, I'm so used to the Packers getting beat by the NFC West guys, I'm actually not all that upset. It just makes it clear that they are the "championship standard" of the league, and if we want to be contenders we gotta get our game up there to match.

Year after year we can (and have) dominate the crappy teams in the NFC North all we want, but we won't be contenders until we can beat the NFC West.

I don't know that I would call 8-7-1 "dominating". But thy have won 3 in a row.



Their run D was bad, but I'd be just as worried about the offensive line play. They got consistently beat on run and pass plays.

You know on official NFL sites and other linked sites when it says the start time, what time zone is that in? I'm obviously in GMT here and it makes a huge difference if a game kicks off at 4:25pm Eastern or Pacific! It means sometimes I will be able to watch the games!

Certainly am! Don't have an NFL season pass (trying to persuade Mrs Tiste that I need £100 for NFL when we need some stuff doing to the house might be a challenge...) but I am following along on NFL.com and enjoying it. I saw the first touchdown after the fumble. Plus it's against the Cowboys (who I hate nearly as much as the Seahawks. Not quite that bad but nearly) so I am extra happy!

EDIT: Turns out they have a few videos on the website. Sweet!

All those years hearing that the NFC East was the best division. Those days are over!

Giants, Redskins and Cowboys looked like hell in week 1 and Eagles Has no O-line. It is only week 1 but i see Eagles winning it easily, and no other team with more than 6 wins.

Ok only week 1 but damn they where bad.

My Cardinals won a close one, but to early to tell if we are good or bad this year.

Was great finally getting some NFL again.

Reports: Adrian Peterson indicted

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted by a Montgomery County, Texas, grand jury on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child, multiple media reports are reporting.

The charges were confirmed by attorney Rusty Hardin, the reports said.

Peterson practiced Friday with the Vikings, who play host to the Patriots on Sunday.

Last October Peterson's 2-year-old son died in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, after being allegedly assaulted by a man who was dating the boy's mother. Peterson learned only two months earlier that he was the boy's father. The man who assaulted the boy, Joseph Robert Patterson, was charged with murder and manslaughter.

I managed a days work after an hour & a half's sleep on opening night ...... I wouldn't recommend it but I managed !
