Do you guys think this will happen to anyone who tries to get from these holes or just some of them?

Total speculation, but my initial guess would be that it could happen to anyone on any day after that utter sadness scene was triggered. Both are new things and it would make sense that the utter sadness thing hasn't been seen before because whoever did it only needed to activate it when they thought someone might escape. And it could be that it kills the first person to escape, or all of them, in a day. Too coincidental that the utter sadness was in the pool, IMO.. and I bet the reason it is explicitly said in the scene where it happens is to warn off escapers.

Utter sadness is I think an ability of Sharkface...

The recruiter could have a "recruit" every 2 nights so may not be in the above list, but I think I posted actions that showed multiple recruits going on over different nights. So the recruiter MUST be in the above list.
