Okay, so, we have today to setup the escape for thoese people who have no interest in playing the dragon's game. Me and Togg are all that remains of the normal escape team, and would greatly appreciate a lift out of this hell hole with whoever can take us. This will have the added benefit of getting rid of the parasite.

Shall we all agree to remain in the pool location today or do we want to move to another location? There was another sonic boom somewhere, but unless that ability last night changed the room somehow, the pool still seems like a fine place to escape to me.

I doubt it will be all of them, considering the number of people whose goal it is to escape.

My gut feeling is that escaping requires a concerted effort by a number of people to do stuff like, dig the tunnel, distract the dragon, hide the loss of people in the house, call the cab etc etc. I think that will be required because it is just me and Togg left, and we already lost our "escape guy" so we are kinda royally fucked

I think that the dragon has killed someone in this escape tunnel means he will be watching it or have blocked it off somehow.

Total speculation, but my initial guess would be that it could happen to anyone on any day after that utter sadness scene was triggered. Both are new things and it would make sense that the utter sadness thing hasn't been seen before because whoever did it only needed to activate it when they thought someone might escape. And it could be that it kills the first person to escape, or all of them, in a day. Too coincidental that the utter sadness was in the pool, IMO.. and I bet the reason it is explicitly said in the scene where it happens is to warn off escapers.

I don't know about that... the ragged cloak doesn't really line up with the dragon. I see the dragon appearing at the end of the scene just being to give the CF, but it being a player ability that killed them.

Ragged cloak -> could be an ex-warden, or Molly's Ragged Lady persona, but both of those don't quite fit.

Tiam said Vittorio was in the game earlier - was he the guy pretending to be a warden with a Grey Cloak in the book, or was that his partner?

If you didn't to reveal yourself you shouldn't have very obviously requested a lover connection immedaitely after I revealed I was involved in the normals escape. But fine, shutting up commencing.
