There's also that whole damaged walls thing from the night scene last night. Maybe it was just flavouring but it sounded like Obdi was specifically pointing out the manor walls taking damage as if we can just get up and leave. Possibly there are roles out there that can do so somehow now that the walls are broken?

I agree that Morty makes the most sense, I'm just trying to throw out any other ideas about who it COULD be.

I think it's going to be increasingly important to figure out who is in the game the further into it we get.

So far we KNOW that He Who Walks Behind was in the game, and we're assuming that He Who Walks Before is also involved based on Korvalain's posts (though I still think this is kind of a stretch).

We also know that Marcone and Gard are in the game because of the actions, so that implies that Hendricks could be in the game too.

There's a good chance that Mortimer Lindquist is in the game - who do we think he would be working with? Morty's mostly a loner in the books, so I'm at a loss for this one.

Maybe he is by himself?

These two ideas seem to go together kind of well actually

Sonic Boom - I'm also at a loss. I'm trying to think of a part of the books where sonic booms were used for anything, and I'm coming up empty.

Hold on...

From Blood Rites:

Quote

"Besides, you wouldn’t want to eat my death curse, would you?” “No. So I’d use a rifle at a thousand yards. The bullet outruns its own sonic boom, and you’d never even hear the shot. You’d be dead before you realized what happened."

That's Dresden and Kincaid talking... Really though, it's not much to go on, and if Sonic Boom happened last night, I would imagine that someone would have been killed yesterday during the day.

If Morty is here by himself maybe his VC is to do what he always wants to do. Get the hell away and stay away. With so many alts there are bound to be a few independents. It certainly fits with his character.

I presume because Morty is cowardly and if he's by himself he has no reason not to just focus on saving his own bacon by escaping?

There would have to be more to it than that, though, or else it'd be too easy for him.

Baaaah Baaaah.

There's at least two other anons on thread, doesn't anyone have anything to say? There's nothing of substance to be said with this guy.

Thread always is empty when I'm on.

What would you like to talk about?

I dunno, food? what did you have for breakfast? Or dinner, or whatever time it is. Previous meal anyway.

Bread.

Bread is delicious.

The speculation about what characters are in the game and their actions is fascinating. pooling your information like this.

So much sharing. What is this, a picnic?

Who are we still waiting for to show up?

Personally, I doubt that Tiamatha is lynchproof, as some have been suggesting. The first one to bring out that chestnut was Korvalain, who I still wouldn't be surprised either is Tiam, or is extremely closely connected to Tiam.

Votes are as follows:
1 Vote for Karatallid - Tiamatha
15 Votes for Tiamatha - Kalse, Korlat, Thyrllan, Korabas, Tulas Shorn, Kessobahn, Tellan, Tennes, Tholen, Trake, Kedeviss, Korbas, Karosis, Telas, Omtose

Not voted: Kadagar Fant, Karatallid, Osseric, Togg

KF, Togg and Osseric are low-posters so far, while Karat was on previously and didn't vote, so my expectations are pretty low...

We've still got a fair while to go, I wouldn't be down on it yet.

I'm slightly concerned about people pushing lynches so hard. There are still 20 hours in the day, it's a bit early to be panicking about a few people who haven't popped on yet. I get that people are concerned about the arbitrary death if no one is lynched, but I don't think we need to be worrying just yet.

I want to go back and read the interactions from today before I vote, but my initial feeling is that Tiam's infodumping combined with his insistence that people share what they know for the whole world to see means that he needs to go.

I think the reason people are stressing about it is because if Tiamatha ends up being non-lynchable like Korv claimed, then the more time we have to move the votes somewhere else, the better.

Take a look at Korbas and Omtose. I'm finding their posting times and lack of content disturbingly similar in style. Short bursts followed by lots of time. And Kesso caught Korbas replying to a question posed to Korvalain.

There is 15 hours and 20 minutes left in Day 1.

There are 21 alive

17 Votes for Korvalain

4 short of everyone or 6 more than simple majority.

At the very least this is allowing us to narrow down how much the number of votes each way can be influenced. We need 2 more votes to find out if he is LP'd based on the Day 1 number needed
