The Phantom dragon appears before your eyes once again, in his slightly see through, but still rather glowing fantastical beauty. He looks down upon Korbas and clicks his forked tongue against his longsword sized teeth. 'You have once more been rejected by your peers, Walker.' The Dragon rears his head back and then pushes it forward, breathing phantasmal fire upon Korbas. You see the silhouette of Korbas melt almost instantly as the vaguely clear fire touches him. Oddly enough, though you stand almost within arms reach, you feel no heat from this fire.

After the dragon finishes his fountain of flaming delight, you hear him mutter 'I just couldn't stomach eating another Tattersail', and the dragon shimmers into nothingness. Looking around, you see shocked, bemused, and horrified expressions on the people around you, then you notice something on the wall behind where Korbas was incinerated. The scorch marks seem to say 'He Who Walks Beside has Died.'

That's night 2. Busy at work so it will be a while.

modgod note: The scorch marks originally said 'He Who Stands Beside', when it should be what it is now. My Mistake.

The wording of "another Tattersail" in that CF pretty much convinces me we are dealing with multiple alt shenanigans instead of an alt hopper.

I think it is much more interesting to check who is being completely non-committal. Korbas stuck out with non-game related low-posting (and that slip), Omtose is equally hop-on-hop-off with hardly a thought worded.

Still, I'd like to go back to day 1 and this CF. Call me tunnel-visioned but I am intrigued by the order of affairs and the way things went down.
The interesting thing here about the CF of day 2's lynch is that instead of "He who walks behind 2.0" the CF mentioned He Who Stands Behind.

AKA: same role, different aspect.

Now, there's another thingie here.
How the fuck could Tatts know, on day 1, what Tiam could do? Korvalain(and by extension, Korbas) was a Walker but he knew some parts of Tiamatha's role PM that we now know to be true (the can't be lynched part). How? Especially if Tiam wasn't in his faction?

And if he did a very specific day find of some sorts, then what about his claim that he pinned Tiam in the Library? That was a day action, probably (unless taken from Korbas?), since he said he had done it already and he didn't live to go to night.

One of the first posts on day 2 was by Tiam in which he claimed he was pinned:

When the slip by Korbas was quoted by Trake, why didn't Tiam seize it to try and deflect away from him onto Korbas? If Tiam isn't in Korv/Korb's faction - which he wouldn't be if he was Nic - why not seize that opportunity?

Also, why did Tiam's contributions increase from hardly any post on day 1 to dominance over the euro-time zone in a way that's usually done by only 1 player - the guy who was just lynched the day before and who knew so much about Tiam's role PM? Not incidentally, also a player who enjoys the limelight? Others have already remarked on how Tiam picked up where Korvalain left off. Korbas' contributions stayed roughly the same (aka: not there) - 3 whole posts until he was lynched.

It might be even more meta than what I used above, but I can't see HOW Tattersail can be sticking to only three posts unless someone ties him up with duct-tape in a broom cabinet in a bunker without wifi or a web connection, unless he has another alt to do all that talking from. The guy loves to talk and he will talk for as long as he is in the game.

Urgh. Maybe there's a trinity of the walkers: Korv, Korbas, Tiam, and the last is unlynchable until the first two are dead, and Tatts was hoping to distract us from lynching Korbas by putting Tiam in the spotlight? It is far-fetched, but we basically were pointed from Korv to Tiam and then circled back to Korv/Korb. Yet no hostility towards Korv/Korb came from Tiam. Even though he claims the Outsiders want him dead.

And then we have Tulas Shorn who has gone from mild resistance and a clear hesitation to lynch Korvalain to a full-blown naming/shaming trash talker who basically stopped playing and instead started to throw his toys out of the pram in order to become a playground bully a la Tyrant Steve?

True, but Korvalain took what, 17? Tiam took 20 without a result. And if there's an order to lynch them in, and if given three alts that require lynching in a certain order, then I could see someone (and definately Tattersail) try to get lynched day 1 (not too hard for him), to steer the thread onto his second, lynch-immune alt, while hiding his third, vulnerable alt (Korbas). It is a gamble (and it misfired in this case because he outed himself from Korbas), but I could see him do it.

And dince I personally doubt that we're going to try and lynch Tiam again just to test my hunch, as it looks thin to me, too, maybe he does get away with it, after all.

I suppose we could test this by putting random alts at 6 votes each if we suspect there's another one. If there are more like the Korbas alt, then I think they could be found in those last to pile onto Tiam. I'll check to see which alts voted for both.

One aspect of high-tmdi games I could do without is players who forget to play the game as they focus on night or feel invulnerable. In 2 and a bit gamedays, we've had you and Tulas behaving like dicks already. Just fucking great.
