What the fuck is that even supposed to mean.

Do I have to do everything around here. Use your fucking imagination!

Pickle-schnit. I had so much mail to deliver, so much information to give before my leg was sewn on my head and the gallbladder ate my mother. I guess it's good that I got it all out like so much miralax, even if I've soiled my government issued trousers. If these are trousers.

OWOWOWOWWOWOWOW STOP FICKING BITING ME YOU BITCH ANTS!!!

Ok you crazy father-fucking fizzle bits, I'm off to bed, in my government issued doorless, jeep-thing.

What was that?

Right.

Scrumcuk. Don't bite the nails with kipplingers. Save the nibbling for the fishes. Day.

I don't like the Ultama lynch. Too many suspicious people are all over it.

Much Much Much prefer a Merrid lynch, and would be fine with a Tennes lynch. (or an Aranatha lynch, who is by far the lowest poster so far, and doesn't seem to be drawing any heat what so ever, but I don't think we can swing that today)

Pretty sure we are at something like 9 hours left, and I will switch to Ultama if needed, but I think it's the wrong choice for today.

If we are playing by the Shields knowing each other but not being able to communicate (which I think most likely), I have doubts they would vote each other. Since I think Merrid is absolutely a shield, and he is voting for Ultama, I don't think Ultama is a shield. Especially that third vote on Ultama, get that train rolling.

I also find the 'random choice' from Ghennan scummy... but my thoughts on Ghennan are up thread.

Both Merrid and Tennes suddenly have (attempted) contributions today and have tripled their posts from day 1, due to a little pressure. Aranatha hasn't, but he hasn't gotten any real pressure either.

Haha, was that a poor attempt to turn attentions onto me, you who tried to distance yourself from Batiatus with your very first post?

And what's this about usurping to take his place? No mention of that in the OP. You wouldn't have perhaps got the idea from 1) the previous Tyrant Steve game, and 2) your own role PM, now would you?

This post is quite stupid, since all of Batiatus's team have to be dead before he can be killed.(stated in the OP)

Checks in, comprehension of the OP so good start compared to some.

Good direction of thought, again game comprehension.

Because of "thinking Capua" and "OH YEAAAH"

Which is referenced by the part about puns.

Agreed on voting reasons :D

Here and read up. I like lynching one of the two combatants for day1, although I don't think it would be a good idea for the whole game. BH is likely to change his tactics after today and we shouldn't use WIFOM to choose our lynch candidates.
Also, I think we should test Skin's reveal. It will at least give us a PI person if he does deliver on his reveal.
I'm more likely to vote for Denesmet right now rather than Skin. But will wait longer for more discussion.

I'm here and trying to read up. I apologize for my absence earlier today. I was on the road for more than twelve hours.

I'm not going to quote his last two posts but they're in a similar vein. I find myself agreeing with Tennes in his approach to the game, his logic and his choices. All are sound, willing to test mechanics as needed but making sure to remind people not to let the thread be driven past D1 by it. Unfortunately he wants to vote me today.

Tennes is exemplary town. Maybe too good. Either way I will not vote for him today.

This post is scummy as fuck. 'Tennes' is possibly too good at being town, but I wont vote for him today. Lolwut? Why would you refuse to vote for someone today unless they are PI like Skintick, unless you are trying to cover for the (other) shield?

It's fucking Merrid and Tennes as the shields, people.

Ghennan is... an overexcited puppy.

Most everyone else is confused, lost, or disinterested.

Anyway, I agree with the Denesmet vote if you people think that Bendal was going to put up a guard in night one.
I would suggest Skintick is RI, and I don't think we should believe Ghennan's 'always vote for fighters because one of them is sure to eventually be a guard!' theory he has going on.
What I'm not sure about, is if the Shields know each other. If they do, we can expect one to be out in front trying to guide people (cough, Ghennan, cough) and another lying low trying to cruise control (lowpost) to victory. Current lowposters are:
Merrid at 6
Aranatha at 6
Iparth Erule at 8
Kessobahn at 9
(me and tennes at 11)
I just did a read-up, and I don't remember anything about Merrid, and the only thing I remember about Aranatha was that he seemed to have not read the thread and was asking if anyone else thought Skin's reveal might be fake, after 2 pages of people arguing about it.

You can expect all you want but the red part is incorrect. You are assuming that Shields knowing each other will mean they have off thread comms. If they don't they have a way for cummincation, they can't collaborate as you suggest.

[content removed as it is just summing up previous actions]

I will vote Merrid later in the day in absence of significant change.

Tennes KNOWS that shields' can't communicate off thread, and he knows they aren't trying to vary their play styles based on what the other shield is doing. I've done this before in previous games, so acting like it is impossible is stupid.

Then he offers to put a distancing vote on Merrid that has yet to appear, meanwhile, previously (see post above this one), Merrid 'clears' Tennes as town and refuses to vote for him today.

Too many options for today. It is notable that Merrid and Tennes have both contributed far more today after their names were mentioned by several people. Ultama has generally continued to play the same way. And yet if we're thinking about perceived possible 'slips' Ultama seems to have more than others. Both Merrid and Tennes, on the other hand, have come out with several statements which illustrate either their ignorance or inability to fully digest what has been said/revealed in the game thus far. Ignorance doesn't absolve, however, and I think Merrid especially has tried (too?) hard to fill out their posts with 'analysis' which has been done previously.

Kessobahn's analysis of Ghennan is worthy, but I'm not prepared to go down that route as yet.

Just some more thoughts on Merrid at the moment. When he finally posts anything he is making these giant post walls consisting of questions that have already been answered, thoughts that are completely unhelpful and as stated general summations, which everybody should be keeping track of themselves. He isnt really throwing anything of value out and certainly seems to be going out of his way to not include anybody's name into fitting with how he sees the game to be going

Goddammit.

I was all set to make an interesting connection when I realized that I have two seperate alts combined in my head as one.

Too many similar names in this game. I even confuse my own avatar with Eldat's when I'm skimming the thread.

Alkend, Ampelas, Anomandaris, Anthras, Aparal Forge, Arantha, Atrahal, Ay Estos, Kadagar Fant, Kalse, Karatallid, Karosis, Kaschan, Kedeviss, Kessobahn, Kilava, Korabas, Korbas, Korlat, Korvalain, Serc, Shadow, Sheltatha Lore, Silanah, Silchas Ruin, Skintick, Sorrit, Spite, Sukul Ankhadu

Merrid,

Why would one shield know who the other one was, AND assume that they didn't have the same information so they felt they had to signal? :)

Anyways, I like the contributions Kesso and Tennes have made today, so I'm not as keen on voting in that direction.

I need to do a re-read again. My initial re-read I latched onto this interesting post by Ryadd and mixed them with Eldat, so my concentration was mainly on their posts. Back to the drawing board.

Because the Doctore may have reason to think he has more information than Ashur?

Regarding the people taking a look at me *shrugs* it is what it is. Yeah I got very pissed off with anomandaris and goul when they couldn't grasp pretty simple, explicitly stated, concepts. I have not been trying to "lead" the thread, just putting my theories out there to see what people think, and so far they have generally agreed with them. As soon as someone comes up with a better idea of what to do going forward I will not hesitate to accept it, but at the moment not a lot of people are putting other suggestions or ideas on the thread. So what else do you want me to do? I'm trying to be active in searching for, and screwing up the plans of, scum. If you have a better way, please tell me what it is and I will take a look at it and see if I agree with it.
