As for MY RB scene - I lost my main back and round 1 pick to criminal charges almost right away. That really hurt. At least if it was due to an injury I could have hoped for a return. Then Steven Ridley goes out for season and Johnson gets hurt(not that it matters, as he was an epic gamble and fail). The only 1 of 4 RBs I drafted that even helped at all is Frank The Snore Gore, and as injury prone as he is I have to keep a slot reserved for Hyde in case Gore's mileage finally catches up to him.
Bleh.
I need a decent RB1. Anyone interested in trading a good RB1 for Antonio Brown. Points leader for WRs to date, and is considered tied with Demarius Thompson as top WRs.
Not playing in your league, so cant see what is availble.
Pick one or more of these of the waiver wire if availble.
Jeremy Hill - Denard Robinson - Jason Grey - Carolina Panthers RB are healthy again, so maybe take a flyer on J. Stewart or Deangelo Williams.
Dont trade your top WR unless you have great depth there.
All owned except Deangelo Williams, and I just had to drop Grey just before freeze in order to regrab Adrian Peterson.
News he might do a plea deal this Tuesday. This doesn't mean anything, he could still not.play again this season, but just in case, yah know. I mean all he did was whip his son. I don't use a switch/stick/whatever you call it on my son, but I do use a belt, and.growing up I was definitely disciplined with a switch/stick/we. So there's still a small chance, and it would pay off well. I doubt the Vikings would take him back, but a playoff team might be able to snatch him up if he's reinstated. I'd love to see what he could do with a better O-line.
As far as depth at WR, I can't say I do really. I have Brown and Jordy Nelson. Everyone passed over Brown this year and he fell to me in the 3rd, but without Emmanuel Sanders I knew he'd cash in. I had Brian Quick as my WR3 until he went down for season.
I stopped watching my fantasy scores for.today, though. Zoom was up on me like 90 to 6 at one point. Nelson was on bye, along with my TE Martellus Bennett, so I grabbed Andrew Hawkins(WR - CLE) to fill Nelson's spot. I men he usually gets 7-10 targets, and the Bucs have been playing shitty defense, so I figured it a safe bet. Hawkins gets sidelined on his second catch, comes back in to do nothing. Hoyer is a piece of shit. He hit every other receiver, but all the balls that went Hawkins way were horrible ass throws that I could do better. /exaggeration
Hoyer still gets 300 yards and Hawkins gets 7 targets, but only puts up 36 yards. Such bullshit luck. While Zoom had D. Murray, A. Ellington, B. Rainy, M. Sanu all going off like.crazy. Sanu is a great fill in for his regular WRs, but nearly 17 points just had to happen against me. Murray didn't pass 10 points, but Ellington hits nearly 20, with Rainy beating his projections too.
I thought I had a chance at least after Thursday's game. His Drew Brees didn't meet projections, and Kelvin Benjamin only scored a point or so.
I am in second place at 6-2, but will fall to 6-3 after this, and the next half the season looks bleak. I'll need some luck on the wire. This only my 3rd year playing.
