Hoping to start the draft on Friday July 25th, no later than Friday August 1st.

Ill admit, Fantasy Football has been one of the highlights of the year. I've been looking forward to playing since literally the day after last season ended.


Auto signed Ben and 12. Ben usually creates the league and 12 is a definite. Waiting for others to respond.

Yeah, we rushed a tiny bit. Ben just ended up having to auto select the last round. Would be fine if the same had to happen, but starting the draft by Friday Aug 1st should give us enough time, with the aim of starting a week earlier(Friday July 25th) the main goal.

Tatts, it might not even come to this, but would extend open spots in our league to previous players first, then open it up to new players. Unless everyone sees it differently. Who are we missing besides KL and Zoom?

We shooting for 12 teams? What's the 'best' number of teams for our type of league?

Agreed on SB as commish, if he is willing. I think we should aim for 12 owners, which is what we had last year. That seems to be the sweet spot in terms of player options without having every team be stacked (8-10 teams) or scrapping the bottom of the barrel in a 14 league.

Only other question is do we want to restrict signups to players from last year first and then fill gaps or just have it be open to all? I like consistent leagues because you build rivalries and such, it makes it more fun so I'm in favor of the first option but it should be up for discussion. Or we could consider 14 teams depending on interest.,

My team was (shockingly) able to win a ton of games for awhile there despite some pretty big injuries. I'm just looking to continue the trend of regular season success and playoff crashing and burning.

Besides, defending champ usually loses right? Right.


PS everyone- I took a new job that involves at least an hour drive each way so I'm gonna stock up on fantasy podcasts til draft day. Be warned, I'm gonna become a guru.

Shin, duh. Shin was the one I was missing. Assuming Ben plays, we would need confirmation from Shan, KL, Obdi, and Shin. That would give us the same 12 from last year. If either of those 4 don't want to play again this year, spots will be open, but I'm hoping all 4 of them play again this season.

And for the third year running, I aim for highest amount of points overall scored, highest points against and a mediocre win/lose ratio. This league seems to guarantee people have monster weeks against me.
