Facing Zoom today and Tony Romo is out for the Cowboys, which means Brandon Weedon will prolly just be handing off to DeMarco Murray every play.........Which, obviously, doesn't bode well for me as Zoom is the owner of said powerhouse back. With Romo in there throwing for 300 yards +, Murray still gets 100+ yards and 2 scores. So I'm only guessing Murray goes for 250 yards and 3 tds.

As for MY RB scene - I lost my main back and round 1 pick to criminal charges almost right away. That really hurt. At least if it was due to an injury I could have hoped for a return. Then Steven Ridley goes out for season and Johnson gets hurt(not that it matters, as he was an epic gamble and fail). The only 1 of 4 RBs I drafted that even helped at all is Frank The Snore Gore, and as injury prone as he is I have to keep a slot reserved for Hyde in case Gore's mileage finally catches up to him.

Bleh.

I need a decent RB1. Anyone interested in trading a good RB1 for Antonio Brown. Points leader for WRs to date, and is considered tied with Demarius Thompson as top WRs.

Not playing in your league, so cant see what is availble.

Pick one or more of these of the waiver wire if availble.

Jeremy Hill - Denard Robinson - Jason Grey - Carolina Panthers RB are healthy again, so maybe take a flyer on J. Stewart or Deangelo Williams.

Dont trade your top WR unless you have great depth there.

All owned except Deangelo Williams, and I just had to drop Grey just before freeze in order to regrab Adrian Peterson.

News he might do a plea deal this Tuesday. This doesn't mean anything, he could still not.play again this season, but just in case, yah know. I mean all he did was whip his son. I don't use a switch/stick/whatever you call it on my son, but I do use a belt, and.growing up I was definitely disciplined with a switch/stick/we. So there's still a small chance, and it would pay off well. I doubt the Vikings would take him back, but a playoff team might be able to snatch him up if he's reinstated. I'd love to see what he could do with a better O-line.

As far as depth at WR, I can't say I do really. I have Brown and Jordy Nelson. Everyone passed over Brown this year and he fell to me in the 3rd, but without Emmanuel Sanders I knew he'd cash in. I had Brian Quick as my WR3 until he went down for season.

I stopped watching my fantasy scores for.today, though. Zoom was up on me like 90 to 6 at one point. Nelson was on bye, along with my TE Martellus Bennett, so I grabbed Andrew Hawkins(WR - CLE) to fill Nelson's spot. I men he usually gets 7-10 targets, and the Bucs have been playing shitty defense, so I figured it a safe bet. Hawkins gets sidelined on his second catch, comes back in to do nothing. Hoyer is a piece of shit. He hit every other receiver, but all the balls that went Hawkins way were horrible ass throws that I could do better. /exaggeration

Hoyer still gets 300 yards and Hawkins gets 7 targets, but only puts up 36 yards. Such bullshit luck. While Zoom had D. Murray, A. Ellington, B. Rainy, M. Sanu all going off like.crazy. Sanu is a great fill in for his regular WRs, but nearly 17 points just had to happen against me. Murray didn't pass 10 points, but Ellington hits nearly 20, with Rainy beating his projections too.

I thought I had a chance at least after Thursday's game. His Drew Brees didn't meet projections, and Kelvin Benjamin only scored a point or so.

I am in second place at 6-2, but will fall to 6-3 after this, and the next half the season looks bleak. I'll need some luck on the wire. This only my 3rd year playing.

I'm going to get smoked this week.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

If so, and if Tatts beats Ben, then the rankings would fall to something like-

1st - Zoom at 7-2
2nd - You(HD) at 6-3
3rd - Me(Brujah) at 6-3
4th - Ben at 5-4

Then 6 players at 4-5, so Tapper has most points I think so he would grab 5th. Not doing maths on 6th thru 10th
Then 2 players at 3-6

Of course theres still plenty of room for certain games to turn out differently from the assumptions I just used for this model.

My team has only made it to this record so far by lucky low points scored against me, but it's starting to catch up to me.

Ditto. When your QB puts up -3.18 points, you're in trouble.

Luckily, Tatts also had some let downs, as that Brandon Lafell td just brought you two to almost dead even on.chance to win. Which is a good comeback, as you had fallen to like 20 percent for a while there.

HD is also not that far off from Shin now either. So both games could still go either way.

Before today I'd averaged over 100 points per week. This week will be the lowest score I think I've scored in all 3 years I've played with you guys. My whole lineup just let me down today.

Edit, actually that Hillman score happened as I posted that, and Shin puts some padding on his hopeful victory.

But, for whatever reason, all the TDs are going to Edelman and Hillman who Shin owns. I lost ground on a TD pass.

Yup.

Looks like you've taken he lead over Tatts, though. Gronk and Lafell paying dividends.

I even messaged Tatts early this morning, at least 8 hours before the first games began, letting him know that AJ Green was going to play, and that Tony Romo wasn't, which would affect Terrence Williams. He should of swapped Green for Williams with the combination of news.

I think he just hasn't been online today, though. Which is nuts, as anyone really hoping to win would make time to at least check their lineup before the games start on Sunday.

I don't know how well Torrey Smith will play, but I'd have so played Sproles over Smith at flex, or put Smith in the WR slot and Sproles in flex over Crabtree.

Oh well Ben. That Torrey Smith td will give Tatts the victory.

Actually, you're still ahead by 0.16 points. It's only the first quarter, but if Smith doesn't get another catch, you still win.

It could happen.

Just checked for an update, and nearly halftime and still only the single catch for Smith.

Players go with only one catch all the time. It's far more plausible than it may seem.

I'd lay a 20 spot on you if someone wanted the action. It will be funny if you guys do end that way, with you up by 0.16, and all he needed was a catch for 2 yards to win, and literally had the whole game to do it.

And the half ends with a throw to Torrey Smith!

Just not a good one!

You're still ahead.

Just one half to go.

Damn, Ben. Losing by only 1.14 points. Plus I just noticed you were the one who had Ben Roth. Can't believe you didn't play him this week.

A) Based on last weeks performance.
2) Because you're old enough to know the whole West Coast traveling to East Coast stats, as well as the fact that it has been ages since that west coast team came to Miami and won. It just doesn't happen.
r) And the best reason of all. You're name is fn' Ben. Represent.

The whole media frenzy was barking about avoiding Rivers this week. I wouldn't really blame you for not listening if you didn't have Big Ben sitting on your bench, scoring more points from said bench than my whole live team.

Where I really lucked out this week is Eric Decker scoring 12. With both Alshon Jeffrey and Golden Tate on bye, I didn't even have a WR on my bench to substitute, so Decker was just a lucky guess off of the FA list on Friday.

After a strong beginning, Edelman hasn't done much in recent weeks so yeah, that was good too.

My team scores a lot of points but fails to win a lot, so I'm finally due for some good luck.

And yeah, how the hell do you not start Big Ben after last week? He should be the guy from here on out!

I checked on Saturday night regarding the teams and players, I saw AJ Green as still questionable and I just didn't want to risk getting no points from that position. I debated putting Asiata in over McCoy but he has not been playing well recently. Regarding Romo and Williams I didn't even have a clue that because Romo wasn't playing that Williams won't see any of the ball. Why is that? Genuine question.

Basically the Cowboy's backup QB is terrible, and wasn't expected to do much in the way of throwing to his receivers. Even when a decent backup enters the game, it's always a crap shoot as to who they throw to since they have a different skill set and different rapport with the receivers.

Example - last year when Aaron Rodgers was playing, Jordy Nelson and James Jones were the go-to receivers. When Rodgers went out injured, the eventual backup Flynn found the 3rd wideout, Jarrett Boykin, to be his regular go-to guy.

But fuck me, seriously, all Rivers had to do was not score negative points. Or even just score negative 2 points.

But thats the way it goes.
