My wish came true. Kansas City my saviors.

Yeah. Second week Arian Foster cost me the match-up.
Switched him in and Travis Kelce out on saturday, then kept Foster in on my 10-to-match time "set final line-up" check that I made myself do after the week 3 debacle when he didn't play (and Miller's 13 points would have put me over ZoomZoomZoom for a win).

2 points in it, the Patriots have been playing well too!

I didn't believe I would pull out a win, you were mightily unlucky

Well, that and a bad line-up choice. Should have checked the Bills' stats against the run. Oh well.

I am going to Bench Stafford this week. Wilson has had a rest and plays the Redskins. I fancy him to have a big game.

I debated benching McCoy but I just cannot do it.

I think Tatts just needs to know a little more how the waiver wire works.

On Sunday at 1pm est, they lock all the players and you can't pick anybody up. They don't unlock them until sometime around 3am in the morning on Wednesday/late Tuesday nights.

You can attempt your waiver wire pickups during the 'locked' time each week. So everybody just watched how everybody played. It's Monday or Tuesday and you want a specific player, for example Eddie royal. If you try to pick him up before they are unlocked on Wednesday, its a waiver wire transaction. Because there might be 3 or 4 players who went Eddie royal. Id sure as hell take him. So if all 4 players pick him up for their team, only the person that's first in line on the waiver order gets him.

You're number 1 on the waiver order. You would have first shot at drafting anyone you wanted. If someone who was number 6 in line and someone number 10 in line both wanted someone, the number 6 guy would get him. Get it?

But early Wednesday morning, everyone becomes free agents again. This is when you can grab anyone you want. But usually all the 'most wanted' players for that week were taken during the waiver period. So no matter what anyone else has told you, if you want Eddie royal, then you can grab him with your waiver pick up, or hope NO ONE grabs him from waivers, and you can hope to grab him Wednesday . I say if you want someone bad enough , take them. But Eddie royal had a few good games early like this last year, then fell off. The difference this year is that Eddie royal looks like hes much much faster and running better routes. It's always a gamble with anyone, but I'm liking both him and Malcolm Floyd.

Oh, and you don't lose the points for dropping someone during the waiver period. For example, you could have went ahead and put on a waiver trade for Eddie royal, dropping Anthony fausano anytime Monday, and it wouldn't go through until the waiver period ends Wednesday. So you wouldn't lose any points anyone you play, ever.

Brujah thank you very much. I had no idea that is how the system worked. I always wondered why HD could make so much transfers without affecting the Waiver wire order. I picked up Royal earlier today but I am so glad I now know what happens. I could make another transfer on Thursday without affecting the waiver order. I like it. I definitely didn't know that is how the system worked.

You can make as many transfers between Wednesday morning when the waiver period ends and Sunday at 1 pm est when it begins as you want, without affecting the waiver order. Only trades made during Sunday at 1 and early Wednesday morning count against the waiver number. Also, when you look at the list of players right now, beside each one it says w(Oct 1) . That means waiver period is in progress. Sometime late tuesday night/early Wednesday morning (est time) the players will change to having a 'FA' beside them. That's when you'll know they are now free agents and no longer on the waiver wife.

If I lose this game I'm going to puke.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Ha ha. Alfred Morris needed 20+ points with Wilson getting what he did. Tough ask!

480 points against 4 weeks in? Hahahahahahahahaahhahahahahhahahahah.

That's brutal, Obdi. Just hope for some Karma (but we know Karma doesn't exist in fantasy football.)

I know. Both Vengeance And Tapper (I think) had less than half the points the week after they played my and dropped 140/120 points on me. :D

Looks like Shanrawr is going to be all alone at the top after this week. Intelesting.

Lesean Mccoy is a grade A wanker. I don't care for him at all. Next years draft, I am doing myself some research.

Out of curiosity, the top 10 "projected" people, how many are actually in the top 10?

I have requested 3 transfers this week. I probably won't get any!

So far this season I have one player in the top 15 and he was my second choice QB.

Spoiler

Top 3 RB's so far this season;

DeMarco Murray
Marshawn Lynch
Le'Veon Bell

Now does this make them better RB's than people like McCoy? No. Then why are their points so much higher? This is what I want to look at, is it their defense? The people that play ahead of them? Is it the coaches fault? Like is he using Sproles way more than predicted or trying to be too clever and throwing it out wide? Is the rule change affecting the way teams are playing or setting out this season?

Next on to WR's, how does Antonio Brown come in at 20 when he is smashing it up in 3rd place. Obviously no one knows what is going to happen, but everyone uses the "projected" as a guideline on who to pick. Now the actual is completely different for almost every position. The closest being Julio Jones project 14 and coming in at 11.

I'd have taken McCoy #1 overall with no hesitation.

Peterson is unexpectedly down for the count.

Charles has been injured.

The top 3 consensus backs have all been BLECH.

I wish I could say it was talent that got me to the top, but I'll take dumb luck too. I'm going to drop like a rock when I lose.
