I am not sure how to judge GL offering to off himself. It's even worse that this comes in a situation where there's two legit trains. If there's one train but not enough time, it's a legit doubt. But with two trains, both so close to a lynch? Meh.

Thus, we could be looking at a scum banking on town saying "play like town, don't give up" (as if scum would give up?) or even a one-two between scum (GL + Barghast, in that case, to give the encouragement) that could be a play to decommission one train. And that makes the "that is a townish thing to do" statement not perfectly true, either.

Even with all that behind me, I also dislike the train on Kaschan. There's some people there who have been questioned.

My weekend was hell so I haven't been able to do much MAFIA browsing or even thinking about it, but I'll just say this; voting to sacrifice yourself can be a town or scum move, but his wording and behaviour make it look much more like town player to me.

I really don't want to start this up again today, we can keep in mind that he may be scum, by all means, but lets hold off until he gives us more to work with or slips up please.

But if you're town, why would he not do that? It leads us to look at you, which, if you were town, would lead to a town lynch and would be good for scum. Only reason you wouldn't believe he'd make a link between you two is if you were scum. Its the only situation where it would hurt scum to interact like that. This seems like a slip to me.

Heck, you can even be the scum and he the town, with you legitimizing his alignment to look good either if he is lynched, or to win his trust.

Also, the statement "scum would never do X" legitimizes scum doing exactly X, because no-one will pick up on it, because 'scum would never do X'.

I think I have a better read on him than you do Eloth, because I was there, involved in the discussion, that lynch could have easily switched to GL, very easily, regardless of the "woe is me, i'll vote myself" posts. They seemed legit, and made me doubt both trains, but it was too late at that stage to change and it would have been majorly scummy for us to do so, and if we did we would revisit the same two players again today!

Barghast as for seeing a huge drop in posts on the second day. My end of weeks are shit. When games start in the middle of the week the second day always falls at the end of the week thus I have better things to do. This has happened multiple times. Nothing I can do about that.

I get to work on monday at the same time and post when I do. You are putting the fact that you are making some kind of "case" on me with the fact that people are voting for you. I don't think the two have anything to do with one another. Your behavior at the end of the last day during the flip from GL to Kaschan is the real reason that votes have started to pile up on you. Then there is your decision to state on thread that you don't think that GL can be scum and that we should ignore him today. When town has ignored failed lynches in past games that has always came back to haunt them.
