Earthquake and air doesn't make sense. Dragons aren't really used past th8.

The standard air attacks are CB goho and shattered goho, and penta.

CB goho is using heroes and a golem to take out enemy queen and an air defense, then sending in 4 hounds and loons. Shattered is the same thing but using 2 golems. Penta is using 5 hounds.

I've had someone in my clan as a TH eight use 2 lightning and an earthquake to take out an air defense then bring along a rage spell for a dragon or Dragaloon attack. He's been very successful so far. It's a strategy I was thinking of employing as well when I start to use air attacks again. About a week out right now to get that dark barracks up and running and to get my last army camp up to carry max TH 9 available troops.

On a side note I did my very first GOHO attack as a TH9 with lvl 2 golem and lvl 4 hogs. 3 starred my mirror. It was Glorious!!! Thanks Vengy for the attack advice. Worked like a charm. Though I thought I was going to run out of time for a second there. Had about 2 seconds left before I ran out of time. Thought I was screwed when 3 of my last four hogs hit a spring trap right at the end. But thankfully my last 4 wizards did the trick.

Dragon attacks are useless. They show hardly any skill and are unpredictable. A year ago or so I might have used a few but nothing beats hogs at th8 depending on base. I have a second account that I just use 17 giants and wizards 8 wbs and around 10 archers. 3 heals with poison. It usually 3 stars most th8s in war.

It's cheap too so I actually get profit from war attacks.

As for my th10 attacks, I mostly 2 star with 1 jump 2 rage 2 heal with 3 max golems 6 witches 20 wizards 12 wbs.

The same army will yield me 3 stars against th9 most times.

We have a th10 who uses golems giants and hogs with only 8 or so wizards a pekka and a witch or something and he pulls 3 stars out his hat against th9s but isn't very good against th10s.

Giants aren't really a good war troop, they are vulnerable to springs. Use golems instead, or shit valks have comparable hp.

Yeah golems are tanks! I like giants for raiding cos they are quick to build but in war the golem is king!

Know what I am ducking tired of? Farm bots. My clan chat is dead because no one is actually playing the game other than their war attacks. Not to mention thinking about how many high yield bases are hit by the farm bots and so aren't available to me. Bitches.

And don't get me started on people using mods in war.

Ugh yeah modders are the worst. Supercell won't do anything about them though because most of the top gemmers mod.

Yeah you can jail break/root your phone and tablet and then install xmod or imod software. That will allow you to stay online for ever and it will also allow you to set criteria for raids, then the xmod will scan for bases to attack that match the criteria. But wait there is more. If you are in a war and someone who is really low attacks you with one troop and then quits. They are able to pull your base back up with all of the traps/bombs/hidden teslas in Xmod and try different attack scenarios on your base to figure out how to beat it. Then they they will attack in war and 3 star you.

Xmod when you want to win but don't actually want to play.

So heard the next major update will have th lvl11. Other than a new defensive building and a possible new hero that takes regular elixir does anyone know what else they might be rolling out. My bet is there will be new dark troops as well but I'm just speculating and have no idea if it's true.

The new defensive building is a laser that can hit anywhere on the map. It can take out a maxed BK in two strikes same for Max Golems. No new Dark Troops. The new Hero is going to cost 6mil in elixar to build and the consenses is that he will be for healing. Frankly the announcements are a little disappointing.

Any other new buildings, like an extra dark barracks?

I've not come across any of those mods you've been talking about.

Anyone fancy a new clan for a few wars is more than welcome in ours. Only stipulation is to use both war attacks. Our co leaders are active enough they they'll help with who to attack.

Raymond, if you want to join and show me consistent th10 attack strategies for a war or two that'd be great.

We aren't in need of players though, we've won 12 wars in a row or 11 with losing one to percentage not sure on that. Level 7 clan approaching 8. It's going well.

I think everything is exclusive to TH11 as far as I can tell...

I'm still a th9 on both of my accounts, I don't have any experience doing th10 attacks. Honestly I'm not even that good of a th9 attacker, I just got grandfathered into a really good war clan. I couldn't make it into my own clan if had to tryout at this point.

Man my 2nd account (where I'm doing everything properly this time and not rushing...) is making me realise the jump from th7 to 8 is a pretty big one. My first attack in my first war as an 8 was just horrendous.

This war the bottom 2 guys attacked the top 4 without laying down any troops. Shortly after I receive my first 3 star defeat as a th10. Coincidence?
