Good luck!
Good luck!
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I went back into the fight last night, and I destroyed the Sentinel and the Empyrean Sentinel, first shot. Guess I was just tired when I tried it the first time!
Anyway, so I started playing on TVHM, and got to Deadlift, then kept dying over and over again - like, the guy was one-shotting me! So I opened my game up for other players to join me, and once there were 3 or 4 of us, it took us like 30 minutes, but we finally were able to kill the bastard!
I've now made my way to Concordia, so I'm gonna open the Golden Key chest and hope to get some better guns than what I have. They were awesome in regular mode, but they're just not cutting it on TVHM.
Friggin' Super Badass Scavs or whatever they're called are the bane of my existence!

Don't look in here unless you've been to Helios and listened to some of the Audio Logs.

Apt, I was reading stuff about the game, and I ran across this re: your spoilered theory.

Jack is coming november 11th
Playing as Nisha too and destroyed sentinel on first try with pistol build. Using highest damage Jakobs ones I see/get, with damage bonuses and crazy fire-rate everything dies quite fast during showdown, currently at lvl 36 and doing TVHM. Gonna start and try to do melee Athena next

Just finished Helios and opened up the final area where the vault is supposed to be.
Its like Helios was made for Athena. You know those power things that pop up you can charge and explode on helios. Bring up shield, blow up a couple of those in front of you, charge up enough power to kill 4 enemies with the ricochet, clear room.
Gonna start exploring the new area on Elpis tonight.

You can unlock a Jack-o-Cannon weapon using the Shift code on the linked page! Gonna be checking this out when I get home from work tonight!

In case anyone missed it, Randy Pitchford tweeted a code for 20 golden keys.

They're unlimited, but i dont know how long they'll last.

I actually found a page that just lists all the codes that are currently active right here!
I sat down and entered like 10 codes the other day, I have a bunch of golden keys sitting on my account, which is awesome-sauce! Everytime I play, now, I try to remember to check for new codes on that page, it's pretty much a guarantee that I'll have some decent weapons whenever my current weapons get out of date.

Yeah, they have a running list at Gearbox Forums as well. I still have well over 100 on BL 2 i'll probably never use after going through and entering them all.

OK it's definitely the Haymaker shield, I just soloed the Invincible Sentinel first go and I downed twice (once when I tried out a rocket launcher and an add immediately hugged my face the moment I fired) and lost shields one other time in the entire fight. All sidequests done, too. The full heals from using the action skill (and killing him as a pirate ship) were a huge help. Now I can do TVHM!

Just bought the Jack DLC - I only had enough time to get up to level 6 with him yesterday, but his special ability is extremely cool! I think I'm going to enjoy this a lot!

I was playing it a bit also. The dialogue between Jack and his double is hilarious.
Also, the background dialogue in TVHM is lightyears better than the first. Athena telling the story again to Tina, Brick and Mordy is awesome. "Tell it again, but make it harder, and change the enemies names."

Yeah, Tiny Tina is frikkin' hilarious. I wonder who's going to be the background voices in the next difficulty.

My wife has got me TPS for xmas and i have so far played for less than an hour.
I know that there have been a few 'Hot Fixes' for the game and i was wondering if they will more affect me come 'end game' or will it affect me going forward (I've on the Deadlift Mission)

I'm reading up about the hotfixes now, and they mostly look like stuff that will affect you throughout the whole game (though there is one that only affects you at about the 3/4 mark).

My friend and I are playing through TVHM together and we've reached the Dahl Facility where you download Felicity into the Constructor bot, and holy shit, it's like our guns are not even doing damage anymore (and we've both been pretty religious about upgrading via the golden key chest regularly). We're pretty decent until the 2 Super Badass Scavs come out. Then it's a bunch of running around like you're on fire and hoping you don't die while your skills reload.

Been working through TVHM myself with my Claptrap. Been only doing the story missions. I've reached Ch. 4: A New Direction. Took a couple tries at "RedBelly" and got my ass handed to me pretty swiftly each time. I need to regroup and think about this one.
Also have progressed my Handsome Jack clone character nicely along in regular mode. Handsome Jack clone has some nice selections in the skill tree. I just couldn't resist playing Handsome Jack with his snarky personality.

My Handsome Jack is the one I'm working through TVHM with my friend. I'm all the way down the left handed tree, so I get badass Jacks, and I'm now halfway down the middle tree too. I frikkin love my Handsome Jack clones, and the Badass Jacks are awesomesauce!

Got this as an early xmas present and played for an hour before xmas, but i wanted to finish Borderlands 2 first so played that alot more.
I have now completed the 2nd game and now on TPS properly and i was wondering how the online is for matchmaking? I have no friends who have the game so it would be random matchmaking which doesnt thrill me as you hear teh horror stories of people trolling or taking all the good loot.
On a positive note, on BL2 i have killed Knuckledragger more times than i can count and never seen the legendary drop from him, i took my sister in law through the start and he dropped it first time so was pretty cool her seeing her first legendary so early.
If anyone still plays TPS or BL2 and is on 360 hit me up my GT is in my sig. Ill be on between 7pm and 9pm GMT on mondays (wifes at night school)
