I too was suspicious of Tiam but hadn't based it on anything more than being 2nd highest poster. Ampelas is rising further in my suspicions the longer they keep quiet but then Tiam is doing that too today. I don't have anything substantial on them other than gut

MO is playing on my nerves by keep spelling Tiam as Taim. It's not like autocorrect would even do that - although given the 5 page long dump earlier it could just be a persistent, annoying typo. I don't read a huge amount into the monkey business (see what I did there) at the start of day 1 but I could be wrong.

Statistically speaking - and this is really pointing out the obvious - town are more numerous earlier in the game. So, following on from that reasoning, the sooner we reach level 5, the better, as more townies *should* receive their bonuses.


I say *should* because of course there is the unknown factor as to what scum might receive earlier, which could throw the above reasoning out the window, depending on what it is.


But one can only work with the information one has, which says more posting = more leveling, more posting sooner = more townies at level 5. Otherwise, the other course of action is stagnation, and freezing in the face of the unknown.

Tiams logic does make a sort of sense here and I'm putting it in more as an alternative strategy to power-up town asap in the miss-guided hope we'd hit 600 and not hand scum all their abilities too. We're all having abilities, are they game changing enough to power up scum? They are one use after all.

I cant reconcile ampelas actions early on. I think his absence today is weird. his late Day 1 was quite interesting. are you fixing to sum up your thoughts?

GL is gone, I find the taim vote on Lock interesting in so far its one of the few votes he could have dropped that would have made me think of switching (outside of the amp, GL taim trivecta) and with the time left what did he hope tk garner from it? Is it a viable lynch at this time to deadline? Unlikely, it does stink a bit of 'anyone but GL'

Okral and Ampelas look to be the only two around then making posts that could be seen as seeking discussion on thread although Tiam leans that way too;

my thoughts exactly, 2 hours is way too long, and right after the ps update you quoted there was a vote and gl bumped up to 5

Had to go out. Back now with some quick thoughts on the more recent posts.

I had the same thought ref Denul and no NK, but for now I'll stick with my theory that GL had the only NK for levels 0 and 1.

Amp (and Orkal) have me bothered a bit due to their non-removal of a GL vote with an hour left. If it was so important to hear the man out why leave him at L-1 and at the mercy of anyone driving by? And then they disappeared after the CF.

I hate signalling cases but the gorilla thing is such an obvous one. But was it intended to paint a target on MO or deflect from him? I currently think the former.

GL had to have realized that somebody would pick up on that initial post eventually. So I'm leery of connections based on the letter "a". Could the 'mistake' with the bolding on "boy" be an attempt to tell whomever to change letters? "b" would be the obvious one.

Of course, if he had off thread comms with somebody else, why need signalling in the first place?? Again, I'll stick with my theory that said comms are limited in some way initially.

If we're going to try to make it to level 5 today we might want to consider whether we want to place votes so early on. I don't want to go into night 2 and day 3 with us at level 4.

I'm going to go back and look at GL's posts with the thought in mind that he was in damage control mode.

For now, if were to vote it would be Tia.
