Okay that last update changed Crucible (even maps are mildly different....box placement)....but yeah a bunch of the weapons everyone is using are NERFED to shit. I'm doing better than I ever have.

I just tried VoG for the first time with a couple of friends - first time for them too. We didn't even get the door open, though that was more because one of them kept being disconnected every single time we cleared all 3 pads Will try again in a couple of days.

I hope Shores of Time wasn't messed with! That's my best 1st Blood map if I'm on Alpha team. Speaking of 1st Blood it's starting to not give credit toward bounty again... Sigh that makes me furious

The map change I noticed was the one on earth Russia...in the hallway between C and A...the box is bang in the middle now...before it was off enough to fire past it on the left, you can't do that anymore. I don't know what else changed map wise....maybe nothing.

Oh man, I am consistently getting a positive KD ratio for the first time ever in this game. Am I finally getting better or is it the update?

And finally got my first legendary primary weapon. I've resigned myself to never having an exotic lol.


I also found it quite sad in hindsight when I actually got excited about receiving a rare ship as a bounty reward

You're imagining things. The only changes in the latest hotfix other than some map rotation modifications and a husk of the pit fix were to reduce the drop rate of special and heavy ammo in Inferno and Doubles games. XD

The weapon balance patch isn't due until September...

Thorn is still as dick-ish as it ever was, and Hard Light is still terrible.

That said, as a Titan, I still hate that armor does nothing in the crucible, but recovery and agility do, so I have half my stats (at the least) given to a stat that does nothing for me in pvp. Not to mention that my shoulder charge is useless with people that just wander around with shotguns.

Oh, and if you have blink equiped you shouldn't be able to equip a shotgun as well. That shit is unfair.

My Warlock feels like he dies slower than my titan in crucible, purely because he can move faster. Also his punch has better range so I can get dat overshield. Feels like just a better class all around for pvp. Haven't gotten back into it with the Hunter but the favorite thing my titan does is end bladedancers, so...

I dunno. Auto rifles seem buffed for sure. If you both say that everything is the same, I can only say ever since the patch earlier I the week things in crucible have been quite different to me, but I could indeed be imagining it.

Even thinking that something has been done to the guns seems to have done wonders for my play psychologically. Believing that auto rifles had been buffed I've been using them on several maps to great effect - bizarre. Perhaps people don't expect to see auto rifles and are shocked into standing still when I unload on them

Gally was sold in the first couple weeks the game was out too. That's where I got mine.

Thorn, Ice Breaker, and Gally are my go-to in each slot depending on what is required.

Also, 3 Gallys and you can defeat the Vex boss in PoE before he bubbles anyone. Which is hilarious to me, but that fight sucks if you don't do it that way. Bubbles and Teleport? Are you kidding?

Oh, yeah, it's just that they're nerfing it soon, so it's kind of an odd time to put it in the line-up. My list is the same but I have a pretty good roll on an Admonisher I use in the absence of a gally or truth. XD

Selling Last Word last week and Gally this week is clearly because they're about to nerf both

And many of the TTK weapons will supposedly be more powerful anyway.

Yeah, I totally see it this way. Its like Bungie is saying "You can grab these now and have fun for a bit...cause in a little while they won't be worth shit. So go for it."

Can't tell if this is Bungie trolling people? Why would anyone who doesn't have it use up the strange coins to buy it from Xur...when it's only going to get nerfed?
