...what is wrong with you people? He sounds like whiny child! Worst decision Bungie has made since firing Marty O'Donnell. XD

He really doesn't, though. Not much more than Dinklebot did, imo, and not enough to both warrant the change and put up with his infuriating voice.
Heck, people complained when Dinklage DID sound more robotic.

Also, this time around Skolas was a piece of cake! Got a decent third man (Titan Defender to round out our Sunsinger and Gunslinger) and made it through on our second try - and it was the first time he'd ever even done Skolas! Great run.
It's a shame we had to though, coz obdi was having terrible connection problems. could barely join us, and party chat was almost unusable. Hopefully next time we try to game it works better...

Glad you guys managed to finish him. Yea I kept getting kicked to Orbit with 'Vulture' Messages, and then out of the game, which was fun.
The second time I tried to restart my system I couldn't sign into Live, and their website stated they were having massive issues.

Hmm I've apparently had a glitch on one of my heavies. I'm have the larger magazine perk on it but has gone down to what it used to be. So I put on another perk and the clip remains the same number for all 3 perks.
Anyone else notice this issue on any of their guns?

Might not be a glitch. I think I read that a lot of the perks have been scaled back in effectiveness in order to make the new year 2 weapon perks better by comparison (like range perks giving 50% less range than they used to, that kind of thing).

Yeah, extended mag on one of my snipers no longer works at all either. Very frustrating with the Field Scout nerf at the same time. Bungie is determined to make sure snipers have tiny magazines and low impact it seems. O.o

Hope it resolves itself. I have no idea why it was only affecting some people and not others. Bloody Xbox live... You're not supposed to behave like PSN! XD

It seems so wrong that greens are more powerful than legendaries

I like collecting in these kinds of games, but if there's going to be a fresh slate of weapons so often that it's impossible to collect all the ones you want in time then that's just annoying. I assume that it is now impossible to acquire any of the old weapons?
There is some sort of 'infusion' thing you can do whereby you feed legendary weapons into another weapon to make that weapon even more powerful. The catch being that the weapon you feed in has to be more powerful than the weapon you're trying to make better. I think anyway. Didn't really pay much attention to that announcement.

Did everyone get the bonus weapons pack? Or was that just something that came with my Legendary pack purchase?

Oh crazy. The auto rifle is pretty sweet actually. The sidearm is pretty powerful too, with a 15bullet clip. EDIT: this preorder auto rifle is the shiznit...I just ran the black garden again and took out all three statues in a matter of minutes
Anyways, running some Dark below stuff to get my levels up before dropping into some actual taken King content

I hate the lime green. Who ever thought that was a good idea? It's like carrying around a neon sign with you! XD
Finished the campaign in... Oh... Three hours? Casual play, most of it solo. Got to 37 straight up from bounties, made 40 before I finished the story. Now I just have to strike until I get my light level up to par.
It was a great campaign, only let down, imo, by a questionable (though unverified) set of events in the opening cinematic, and the fact that at four levels higher than necessary, the final boss was a pushover (again). I'd strongly recommend being lower level than max, if possible stay at the recommended level for it.
Onwards!

Well. It looks like it's get the Taken King or stop playing.
'Legacy' Crucible matches, can't fully control what mode you'll be playing.
'Legacy' Vanguard playlist only goes up to level 20.
No XP earned after an hour's play, so it looks like 34 is my max level, which will make Iron Banner impossible when that comes round.
No third sub-class (though not so surprised about that).
Zero Legendary Marks earned after an hour's play (by contrast, they seem to have got hugely generous with Strange Coins. I earned 20 in that same hour).

Do all those quests you got (I have 2 pages of them and when you hand one in you seem to get another), they give a ton of Legendary Marks. Buying a Year2 Legendary at 280damage/armor for 150marks ups your light a lot.

Oh yeah, that too. XD definitely a lot of rewards from those, just based on the couple I've done and the reward indicators on the others.
Though half of them are to do strikes, so, twofer! XD
